I live here, and you landed on an amazing day in all the truest sense. With the exception of the roadside construction. Thanks for highlighting our lil city 👍👍
That was Witset Canyon not Telkwa falls. Witset Canyon is a traditional fishing spot of the Wetsuetin People. The section of river at that rest stop is definitely tidal. The tides in Rupert are up to 7 M and push upriver halfway to Terrace
Ok thank you! I used to work at the Crest Hotel and wanted to know if it was one of their less expensive rooms on the main floor. I’m glad it wasn’t. :)

Thank you! We enjoyed visiting, exploring the trails and eating seafood! You live in a gorgeous place. :-)
Thank you for sharing this video! I'm moving to Prince Rupert in 1 month and I'm excited!
I hope you love it there! I love being by the ocean. 🐋 🐳
Beautiful views. We hope to travel out west some day. Would be great to see the seals, and whales. 👍🏿
I would recommend lower on the coast. Oregon is beautiful!
Thanks for sharing experience for Prince Rupert amazing
Thanks for watching! Have a great day.
Tide affects the Skenna River all the way to Terrace, B.C
It was really cool to see how much it affected the river. It was much higher when we were going than when we came back.
No it doesn't.

Thank you for letting me know. It sure is beautiful! It's incredible how the river changes with the tide.
What hotel were your staying at in Rupert with only 2 beds?
We were at the Prestige. I wouldn't recommend it.
