You look stunning in both!
Thank you!
So beautiful! Would love to see an updated skincare routine😁
Thank you! It’s actually the same as it’s been for awhile, but I can work on it!
On this note/theme, could you show us now how you remove it all!!!??? Nobody but nobody ever shows that, aaarrrgh. What do you use? What steps or in what order? What do you remove 1st, all the way to what is the final "ah, all clean and ready for bed" skin like?
Seriously, I always wonder and want to know!
Thanks, you rock btw. :)
That was so cool when you snapped and your lashes were on! So creative!
haha thanks.
Great for upcoming Nutcracker season!! Tis the Season! Thanks Kathryn! Love watching you dance! I love how your face becomes so effortless and looks so beautiful from stage!

@@kathryn_morgan Its a pleasure! Hope your doing well in Miami!
I'd love to see more make up looks for different roles!
I love the advanced look especially the lip color. Much nice on your skin tone.
Thank you!
Your stage makeup looks are how I found you. Thanks for all the tips. You’ve really helped me out. So fast, too. Dang girl.
I’m doing Corsaire in January so the music is making me happy while also driving me crazy😂😂
Would love more stage makeup looks! Perhaps an updated nutcracker series?
My studio recommended this video for recital makeup!
Thank you so much for this video! Ive been watching your stage makeup tutorials for years and they’re excellent. Your videos are so inspiring to me and many others. Have a great week and sending lots of love! ❤️
Thank you so much!
I love how you edited this video. It’s so cool
Thank you so much Kathryn! I love how you offer so many options for makeup looks!
Dear Katie, Would you mind sharing what lipstick did you use for the advanced look? It's exactly the shade that I am looking for... ^_^
Yes! It’s MAC lipstick in “Chic”
So beautiful!!! I had performances yesterday and Saturday and I did most of my makeup but I struggled a tad... This and all of your other makeup hacks and tutorials really helped! I will definitely be practicing before my march show!
I'm so glad this helped!
Love the two in one style tutorial!
Thank you!
Please do a video on jet gluing pointe shoes, and a technique tip on fouettes I know you have done one but I would love to see an updated one!

Could u do a video on how to not lift with the quad in develope? Love your vids
She gives many helpful tips on it during her extensions video :)
Katie, just an idea for maybe some video in the future. Now that you're dancing again, would you maybe do a video on a dancer's footcare. Products, daily routine etc. Thank you so much for this video, loved it as usual. ;)
You are such an inspiration to me!
Aww thank you! Xoxo
Beautiful! Hope to see you in these looks on stage soon!!
I don’t do ballet and wear make up about once a year... but I enjoy your videos ☺️
I’ve used the older basic tutorial for my competitive ballroom look changing the lipstick between standard and Latin.
Kathryn, thanks so much! Would really love it if you could give us the color palette/brand for the brown eye shadow in the basic tutorial, and then also the brand for the stick makeup for stage. Maybe you could list your products in your info? Hoping to make it to one of your performances since I'm in West Palm Beach!
Hi Kathryn! Loved the video! What is the exact pan stick you used for advanced foundation?
And where do you buy it in store????
I was just going to request this! great video!
I love it....you are so quick and efficient...and you have absolutely amazing skin...😇
Thank you so much!
I love both of these looks . They're definitely on my list of ideas for performance lookr
*looks missed grammar
Thank you!
I love these videos ❤️
Additional points - I am always more comfortable with waterproof mascara and eyeliner, and I like to pancake my ears as well - so they don't stand out like little lights. Also, lip colour can depend on stage lighting. In the lights I most often work in, the lipstick in the advanced example would be too blue (lips can vanish completely if the colour is incorrect for the stage lighting). I have usually needed a more pure red, such as the one shown in the basic look.
I have been asking for this yay!
I love your makeup tutorials
Thank you!
Yeees! Ive been waiting for this
U look gorgeous ❤️ just wondering what brand of pancake u use?
I do freelance makeup and it is funny whenever I do clients for a performance or wedding or some sort of event where there will be a lot of photos they always get a bit nervous with how much makeup I use. You have to go a step up in intensity of your makeup to make it really look good in photos. Especially when those photos or people are
Farther away from you.
Your editing is wonderful!
Thank you so much!
So pretty
You are so pretty!!!
Aww thank you so much!
Bellísima bellísima bellísima 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Stunning !
Thank you!
Can you do a update video of essential ballet performance what to pack with new hacks?
Gracias
Hi! I love both looks, and will definitely be using your tutorial! I'm wondering what false eyelashes you recommend? Especially for beginners. This will be my first year wearing some for the Nutcracker, and I am a bit lost. Any tips for applying would also be appreciated!
Thank you! I literally use false lashes from the drugstore. Obviously the best quality are the high-end ones like MAC, but these are drugstore ones. Can't remember the actual brand!
Missed you xx
You are so so beautiful ! I love your videos !
Thank you so much!
@@kathryn_morgan Thank you for sharing these videos ! You are a great inspiration not only for dancers !!!
Can you do a dance organization video?
Hey Kathryn! I like your videos a lot. They're really helpful. I want to share with you about an injury of me that I have for about 1,5-2 months. My hamstring is pulling on my right leg. I think my muscle is torn. Normally it recovers itself in a couple of weeks but this time it hasn't recovered for a couple of months. I don't have any bruise. I feel the pain only at the exercises such as develope and spagat. I've read that I should do ice my leg and rest but Im not sure if its a good way bcs it doesnt seem as a fast and a practical treatment. What do you think that I should do? I have voltaren as a salve but I don't put it on my leg on the days when I don't dance. Even I did it once when I had a dance class. But my personal opinion is that its not a long term solution. I would like to hear your advice! I am sure you have loads of ideas about this injury. Warm regards, Saydam
Is there anything you know about the thing that a lot of asian girls do where we draw a line more or less a centimeter under the eye with eyeliner to make it look bigger?
I don't know much about that, but it actually makes a lot of sense. It would definitely give that allusion.
Can you do a video on how to remove stage makeup?
It would be awesome a stage makeup... With masks....
Katie❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😄
Just in time for nutcracker ❤️❤️ ilyyyy
How many hours of rehearsal time does it take you to learn a new dance?
Hi Kathryn I love your videos and your makeup
I’m sorry I have to say it. This makeup tutorial is NOT good for typical stage makeup in theater. Maybe for dancing or other types of performances it is, but not for musical theater/plays. For one thing, you NEVER want to use anything shimmery or shiny because of lights on stage. The blue eyeliner or bright lipstick could be ok for specific characters depending on context and the time period, but unless specifically enstructed by a director stick with the brown eyeshadow that she did on the basic side and a natural colored matte lipstick. For eyeliner, make sure to use black eyeliner to make your eyes look bigger and you can even use white eyeliner on your waterline for the same large eye effect. You’re also going to want to use a brow pencil and false lashes (optional) to enhance those or they will not show up well on a stage. As for blush, while she said not too, you usually want to add just a little blush on your nose and even forehead to add more color to your face ( but not too much). You also will want to add contour to the bottom of your nose. Make sure everything is full coverage for the best results.you can change some things based on your character/ time period. No hate to her, she is amazing at makeup and while this make work for some kinds of theater it will not for most. Hope this helps!
Forgot to mention this 🤣 I do know she’s talking about dance, but I have a few theater friends who got in trouble with directors for doing their makeup the wrong way bc of this specific video, so I wanted to specify just in case any theater kids are watching.
where is a good store to find a clara nightgown. i have been looking everywhere and i can not find any?
Maybe try Etsy?
Next time you do two at the same time, please wear different colored blouses. This was rather confusing going back and forth.
