- I know it has been a while since I've been here, I am sorry for abandoning you all like that, I am indeed doing my best to try and keep a decent schedule going but I suck lol. As far as the Fallout 3 video goes, its uh, Fallout 3, I'm just not a fan. The railway rifle also just sucks. I would prefer to do a railway run in Fallout 4, or just nothing Fallout 3 related. Maybe its time to bring back Fallout 2...

Damage and movement speed are both scaled directly by the players size
(With Broken Steel installed) "There is a respawning pair of Super Mutant Overlords on the path to the National Guard Depot from Friendship Heights who come armed with Gatling Lasers." per the non-Wikia Fallout wiki. Other than this, your option for a F3 vanilla Gatling Laser only run would be to Stealth Boy spam through the Deathclaw Sanctuary to grab the Unique variant, Vengeance. GL if you end up attempting the run, using late-game stuff as a low level character is rough and the Gatling Laser gets pretty boring after a few hours imo, may not be worth the effort. You end up DPS-checking everything to death or hallway strafing between laser bursts to avoid some of the enemy's gunfire and that's about it.
Repair costs are insane if you don't have weapon repair kits added through mods too, it may not be feasible to run without incredible amounts of cheese.
Hmm, I mean the challenge for those sorts of runs is always getting the weapon itself, kinda like how the main challenge for the minigun run for new Vegas was just getting the damn weapon. I may look into this in the future though assuming I go back to fallout 3 anytime soon.

i think one of your mods was messing with experience since i play fallout 3 a decent amount and it looked like some enemies where giving way less exp then they should of been
I always feel like fallout 3 runs should start from leaving the vault and the radroach shouldn't count since there's zero choice without glitching - side note I already own spiderman 2 so let someone who doesn't enjoy it
Yeah, I mean I skip the vault in fo4 runs since the entire prewar stuff is just boring, and nobody ever complains about that
Fun fact: damage is scaled to your height. Both nerbit and paul learned this the hard way in both "can you beat fallout 3 as a baby" and "can you beat fallout 3 as the pint size slasher".
This is a neat challenge idea, i don't remember the gun from any of my video watches so I'm enjoying learning about it!
It’s a very…like, out of the way weapon. The substation I picked up the blueprint from and a random side quest are the only ways to get the means of crafting it, and even then it’s just very mediocre so i highly doubt its ever on any of those “Top 5 Weapons In Fallout 3!!” videos you used to see way back in like 2018.
If you get all blueprints of it and aim for the head, wouldn’t it do some good damage?

Now do this run repairing the rifle with multiple copies of itself instead, and find the spikes. No cheating.

An idea for a run I had is *Can You Beat Fallout: New Vegas With Only A Plasma Caster?*
- Only allowed to damage enemies with a Plasma Caster. The Smitty Special not allowed. You can choose to use mods and alternate ammo types if you want, or don't if it would make things too easy.
- No companions, Very Hard + Hardcore.
- (Optional) Must complete the Van Graff's questline.
- (Optional) Only allowed to wear Van Graff combat armor.

@@user-kt4to5xs9l I actually enjoy 76 plenty whenever I’m bored with friends, as for why I dislike 3, it just isn’t fun to me. The gunplay is very eh compared to NV, the story is pretty boring and I was disappointed that fallout 4 was essentially the same story in reverse, but for the most part I just leave it around the middle. It’s my least favorite fallout simply due to me liking the other ones more, not a bad game, but more so just a bad fallout game to me. Kind of like how everyone hates dark souls 2 but it’s still a fantastic game comparing it to non dark souls games.
