I have no idea why this popped up on my feed, but that's a fantastic little Jeep. 15 minutes ago I'd have said it is impossible, but now I want a Patriot.
I bought a 2017 4 x 4 Jeep Patriot new with 67 miles. I wanted it ALL manual. Manual window cranks, door locks, and transmission. Sticker price was $17,800. In 2022 it has 73,000 miles and been maintained regularly. A re fi lender just appraised it at $18,000. Needless to say I’m going the route of Project Patriot NH. The one thing I miss is the 4 low, but you can kick into neutral and use the emergency brake in a pinch. NH is my old stomping grounds. I now hike, mountain bike and car camp in the Blue Ridge Mountains. While getting spring water, my front right tire hit a deep pot hole which caused the speed sensor to go bad and need replacement.
Omg bro im looking for a jeep patriot and i mtn bike .. i live in Chicago .. i want to use the jeep to put the roof top tent and hit up more trails in the neighborhood states. I do not want to pay for hotels anymore .. so with the tires and the lift how does the patriot hold up? I just want to get to easy camp sites maybe an easy trail it can handle ... of course i would want a better jeep but right now the patriot is perfect price range for me
my Jeep Compass 2012 2.4l fwd CVT last winter, Decided on factory size falken wildpeak A/T trail. It did noticeably effect the stability of the Jeep she seemed to like it, changed the factory handling, until I installed blue moog sway bar bracket bushings that are harder thermoplastic from stock rubbers. That also stiffened up the body roll/drift, during high speed turning or switching lanes.
I can say to you I've got a 2016 jeep patriot and I'm running 225 6517's on mine. Of course the truck came whith 17s not like the other patriots that have 16s. The tires I have are Open County A/t 3s,no lift kit what so ever.

Rim size? And did you have to use spacers?
Great stuff! Is there anyway you could post on the specifics of your extra long roof rack and additional supports! Looks awesome!

Can a roof top tent still be added if you have a roof rack? Does the rack interfere with a moonroof?
Hi. Where can I buy the cross bars and roof basket?
Hello, nice setup. Which cargo basket is that on your roof?
Name of the tires n size pls
