Happy Halloween, Austin! I was disappointed that "Time Cut" wasted a promising premise, and didn't even deliver on the slasher elements. "Totally Killer" embraced its similar concept, and was a better film for it.
Stacked month for me! Mainly cause of all the anime airing now lol. From what I saw I’d go: 9. Hellboy: The Crooked Man 2/10, never been huge on Hellboy 8. Venom: The Last Dance 4.5-5/10 7. Joker Folie A Deux 5/10, I don’t think it’s as bad as it’s made out to be, but still meh imo. 6. Terrifier 3 6/10, not my kinda films, but I had an okay time with it. 5. Saturday Night 7/10, not very familiar with SNL, but I still had some fun with it. 4. It’s What’s Inside 7.5/10 3. Piece By Piece 7.5/10 2. Look Back 9/10, close to my top 10, a rewatch could totally knock it back in. It’ll be on streaming soon, and I recommend it, even if you’re not big on anime. It’s only 58 mins. 1. My Hero Academia: You’re Next 9/10, never a doubt in my mind. This is in my top 5 favorite movies of the year! Love My Hero so so much! I also got to watch Back To The Future Part II in theaters. Just need to watch Part III in theaters and I’ll have seen the whole trilogy in theaters 🔥
I will never understand the Joker 2 hate 😭. It’s a movie made by The Joker. Joker 2 definitely corrects many things from the first in many ways, the musical aspects make sense, it’s not great but I don’t get it 😭😭

Just saw Joker 2 today. I definitely liked it and don't understand why it got bad reviews. It's a movie with a lot of layers and the music supports that. Phoenix gave it his all. Didn't like the ending though. Or maybe i'm just fed up with all these generic comic book movies.
Family Pack was really meh but if you didn’t know the game they were playing in the movie is a real game French kids regularly play so it has a lot of references you probably missed
Best to worst (I didn’t see a lot this month): Saturday Night The Apprentice Venom 3 Joker 2 (fucking sucked) Also I wanted to see Woman of the Hour but I didn’t so I’ll put that on my November ranking
