Mine ended up having sunburn with big ugly brown spots on every petal. Should I cut it off and plant it in ground even when the petals are ugly with sunburn spots? Also can I cut it off during its “dormant” period. I have moved it in the shade now but I am in Zone 9a-9bCalifornia.
I can across your UA-cam video. A little late but still informative. Thanks for the information. I do have question about how to take care of non winter frost hardy succulents in the winter. I just started buying succulents in the summer and then I was hit with the winter. Didn’t know what to do so I bought a greenhouse and put them all in there and half of them died. I think what happened was I followed sone advices from UA-cam and they said not to water the succulent so I didn’t and now spring is here and half of them died. Any advice?
Hi! I have succulents and their underneath leaves are getting really big and long and the layers are growing spaced apart.but the first few layers the leaves are small and are growing close together like a rosette. This applies to Haworth aeonium and blue echeveria. On my panda plant the bottom leaves are long and large and stick out far on the stem and the top leaves are prettier and smaller. I get so many compliments on my panda plant. It's so pretty. It's my favorite one but I need to transant it into succulent soil.and I want to split it to get another plant out of it. I wish I could take pic for you to see.
Its probably died or got an infection that has covered its skin. If your cactus or succulent suddenly changes its color then you know there is something wrong. Try repotting it to investigate the roots
You can give it water once a week and see if the soil is wet after a week. If it is still damp, stop giving it water and do it once every two weeks. The more soil you have the more soil the pot can store water so also don’t give the whole pot water. Just a half glass of water should do if its the only one in the pot. I always say if its not dead its living so carry ok what you’re doing. How old is the succulent? The younger it is the more attention it needs
@@yasawadee7231 the Sunburst can grow both in sun and shade. If it is in a pot which has been getting a lot of sun and none during winter then keep it in a place where it gets sun. They don’t like frost so keep it in an under cover place if your place does frost ☝️
Watering you can continue once a week. New succulents (cuttings) will need once a week religiously but when they start growing then you can lessen the amount of water

Does a succulent get enough water if a small plant Is in a large pot?
