- Ford, Chevy and Dodge built some of the most insane muscle cars ever. From the Camaro 427 to the Plymouth Superbird. These gas guzzling straight line rockets were all the race of the 60s and 70s.
Today i decided to build the most insane version of this, complete with a 10L V8 engine. After i built the Automation Muscle Car I drive it in BeamNG.Drive.
Next week im going to use this car to compete in a multiplayer event with some other Automation youtubers!

god I tuned myself into a corner with an automatic..... but manual seems soooo much faster on the quarter mile!
Yeah i had an auto but reallly tried to squeeze a manual outta it! And locking diff!
I edited the test car you sent me and got it down to 12k with a manual trans
The reason real drag cars use auto 2 speeds is because planetary gear sets can be made a lot stronger than regular gear pairs without increasing weight a ton. We've started taking the 3 speed TH400 case and sticking a 2 speed gearset in nowadays, they do have a planetary gearset manual though, it's called a Lenco and top tier cs1 lencos are rated for like 4000+ horsepower to the input shaft.

I did essentially this as one of my first few cars in Automation. I got the game 12 days ago. My car is from 1971, and I named it the Roger FRENZY Scrambler. It fits almost all of the outlined criteria, though it's a 1971 instead of a '69, and it falls short on comfort at 2.5 and approximate cost at $186,000.
I love making this model year

Peak performance is a gas guzzling 10L V8 that costs as much as a base crappy car.

You were right with the monocoque chassis. I know the dodge charger is somewhat of a monocoque
After this I just went, and built a 16.2L V12, and put it in the Jaguar XJ body.
Personally I think a TT 6L V10 with 1600Hp is just fine in the Koenesseg body, i haven't used this layout in a while, do to the turbo lag, but I might remake it when the next automation update happens (the car with the engine was made in 2018, so I have no idea if the power level is even possible.

What is the mod that you use to make the cutouts for the tailights and stuff? I cant find it in the workshop!
Its called Reverse Dog Tape. BUT im 99% sure its a fixture thats just in the base game, should be in the body molding section!
@@TwinTurBros nope, there is a similar thing but if you make it transparent it doesnt leave cutouts, it shows what's behind

You shouldnt have done it with white face tires, it is weird for a nascar but still a good build.
This model is more of a roadcar with Nascar inspiration, but yeah maybe shouldnt have came with white walls :P
BUT I loveeeee the look of white walls, so was more of a personal choice XD

Like getting the overpowered Ford 427 SOHC banned from Nascar. Definitely a dodge moment, afraid of somebody who can definitely beat them.
@@duckdestroyer2412 oh you mean when dodge's 426 got banned by ford. Almost forgot that happened.
@@THESLlCK the other way around, the 426 hemi was fine in Nascar, until ford brought out the 427 sohc then it was a big problem to have exotic engines in Nascar. And that 7 liter beast never got to race all because Chrysler was too afraid to compete.

They are two separate games, but the developers have worked together to make automation cars work in Beamng

@@RDKSP33DY Far from it, both may have been Chrysler B-bodies and shared the same engine options but every other panel and part on the two cars are different.

Dodge Daytona is better then Plymouth Superbird
Both are great
Bit subjective when it comes to that, apparently the Daytona had a higher top speed and some better drag coefficients. I will admit the Superbird does have a more famous legacy due to Petty and the first Cars movie along with F&F. Both are works of art that were killed too early and it's a darn shame we never got either into 1971 because sketches and bluprints from then looked amazing.
