- I retake orion bass cover include correct lines and some mistakes (sorry..)
I controlled bass tone that similar to cliff burton's original bass tone.
gear :
Aria pro 2 sb bass (passive mode)
Morley power wah boost
Darkglass b7k ultra
SIT 95-35 strings
tip : wah pedal is always ON.

How do you make it so that the bass doesn’t sound too distorted and pretty clean when the wah is all the way down? My bass keeps on roaring even when I’m barely just touching my strings

Phaser might work better for the bass solo. The finger percussion sounds a bit too clucky with the wah.
what string gauge do you use on the bass? im trying to get cliffs tone but with my strings i feel like there to big to keep bending on with his songs, was wondering if its worth switching strings. apparently cliff used 30 55 70 90s.
I used SIT 90-35 strings for this clip
