What If... AJFA Had a 10th Song? | Proof Of Concept

- Hey guys I remember that I made a post on my community tab where I said like I wanted to make a what if, but instead of doing like a crossover between albums, I wanted to create a new song on an album altogether. So, after not literally making any riffs at all for it, I came up with this riff tonight which is mostly inspired by Harvester of Sorrow, but still sounds different. The mix is absolutely awful, but this is just a POC so I don't really care about that. Overall, I think I want the 10th song to sound a lot like harvester of sorrow but obviously make it different and stuff. I thought about throwing a bpm change in the song, but this is just all abstract stuff right now. This video is just meant to prove that I'm trying to make the song lol. Also, I want to note that my life has been very busy recently and I know that's an excuse that everyone uses but it's true 😭 so this project probably won't be finished for a while but I will post any and all updates that I have with it!!!

OK, here's an idea. A hypothetical 8th album in which Jason never left.
Loved the sound they might've been going for with - Human and No Leaf Clover, so something between Reload and St. Anger/Presidio would be really cool to hear
By the way, you could totally convince a good amount of people it is real!
there are a few unused riffs that show up in the dyer's eve demo from '87, the ones in the beginning everyone knows, but at the end, there's a rif that sounds sandman-ish that I think would fit really well here

Song is nice but it ain't AJFA, it sounds like 20 years ahead of the AJFA album.
I know is tough but to get closer you need to try to simulate the same influences and have a mindset of those times... What would Metallica listen to on those days? Mind you there was no internet, how would they learn a new song?... Those things, and a bunch more, created an impact on how you would consume music and that would certainly shape the way they composed....
So that's my two cents... It's a tough endeavor what you are after but go all in, go for it!
Simplify the drums a bit for Lars
