Great video, In my case so I don't miss any meeting I set the alarm in my Apple Watch for each meeting I have. I want the alarm as it rings till I actually see it and stop it, as I get many notifications and got used to ignore them. Would be great to make an integration between Google Calendar and Apple Watch's Alarm, or similar. If you know how to do it, let me know.
This was a great vidio. on my iPhones Google Calendar (Settings to General) I do not see "Notifications" Section. Not do I see "Notify on this device" ?? Can you tell me how to get that to populate?
The way notification settings are handled for apps on iPhone has changed a bit, and it's not directly accessible within the individual app itself like it might have been in the past. Here's how to find and manage Google Calendar notifications on your iPhone: Open your iPhone's Settings app. Scroll down and tap on "Calendar". This is where you'll find all the notification settings for the Google Calendar app.
Good video. Thank you. I wish Google would enable notifications more than 28 days/4 weeks in advance. Irksome for people with deadlines that span many months or years.
The notification settings you showed for your device doesn't exist on iphone. I can add or edit notifications but I don't see a setting to allow the settings on the device (and all of the other options that accompanied that choice). How does one do that for iphone?
I have selected a specific sound on my iPhone 13 to play for my google calendar, but it is not playing the sound I selected! How can I match the sounds on my iPhone ipad and computer to be the SAME "SPELL" for the calendar notification?
I went from a Samsung Galaxy (where I used to use my google calendrer and was able to set my personal notifications so that the SOUND repeated if I did not swipe on the event) to the Google Pixel Pro 8. I cannot figure out how to do the same on this new phone! So frustrating! HELP!!
Unfortunately, Google Calendar doesn't have a native feature to persistently repeat notification sounds until you acknowledge them. But here is a workaround to give you a similar experience: In your Google Calendar settings, try extending the notification sound duration. Go to Settings in Google Calendar. Tap on General. Select Notifications. Choose Calendar Notifications or a specific calendar. Tap on Sound and pick a longer notification tone.
Make sure you allow these notifications from your browser or desktop. When turning this on, you should receive a prompt from your computer shortly after.
The great thing in this this video is that you put a lot of known tips together.
Thanks Scott.👌
So glad you enjoyed it. What was your favorite tip?
@@Simpletivity Not a specific one. I already know all of them, but I loved to see the way you put all together in the video.
Good job. 👍
Glad to hear it. Thanks!
Great video! Super helpful. Many thanks!

You can kind of work around it by creating a Task, they can be pre scheduled without limit and also show on your calendar
Thanks for sharing this reminder about the notification limit.
Great tip, thanks!
Thank you! I'll try it
¡Excelente video! Muchas gracias 👍👍
Another great video. Thanks

This helped. Thank you sir.

This may be a limitation on iPhones. Apple likes to 'lock-down' and limit more settings compared to Android.
Yes

I cannot get an audio notification or alert on my iPhone google calendar. Does the audio alert only work with the iPhone calendar?
Same issue

I am still not getting any pop up notifications :( only the sound notification 10 minutes before an event, but not a pop up notification.

I am getting notified only when I jump on to the tab where calendar is open
I can't believe it has no dark mode, it's like looking into a light bulb
You can get browser extensions that address that
@@aliasgur3342 I know but it's not app specific

What if you're not a millennial and you still use a PC? I don't see these settings in Gmail on my Windows 11 PC.
Don't ban people's comments, especially mine lol. It's nice to not.
