Thanks! Opened up a whole new mindset of problems for me to work out. Now I understand why people who are more skilled in Photoshop cringe. I am on my way to becoming a Photoshop snob. :)
Hi Colin.....I'm very confused about this subject, I have tons of old photos with probably low resolution that I want to enlarge between 100% and 200%. Should I stick with the method you are talking about from photoshop, or....should I get a plug-in like "Alien Skin Blow Up 3" or something else you can advise ???? Would you be so kind as to write me a word or two on this matter ? Thanks.
Question? I have to use a 9x12 300ppi. How do I check the size of the image itself to ensure its gonna fit the file or have to adjust the numbers so it doesn't look Pixley ? When I go to the tab and select image size i get the size of 9x12 300 ppi (file, canvas, or whatever its called). I am super beginner. thanks for your help in advance
#Collin_Smith that is great info, you could break it down, use one function for line art, alone and the image with the other, then add them together, once the it is resized... Thanks :)

Thank you, Colin. I thought I already knew what I was doing, but...

Is 2017 better than 2015?

Yes you could do that, resize them and combine them
Gooooood
why do they always show you how to make the image look crisp when enlarging? Why not smaller!? boo
Because usually the problems happen when enlarging.
@@photoshopcafe I'm having trouble with reduction too. I made it look presentable but it still looks blurry.
not helpful at all, not on the subject
