5:06 The loom is used to make banner designs, which you can later add to your shield if you like. One of the slots is for complex design templates that you can craft or find around the overworld.
5:51 The lectern is for decoration as well as providing work for villagers, you can only place ink and quill books on it, it also works for redstone mechanisms if you are interested.
6:15 The blast furnace serves to melt minerals faster than in a normal furnace, and provides the work of armorer to the villagers. I repeat, it only serves to melt minerals faster, and you can't do anything else with that.

Magma blocks don't start fires, but they burn mobs/players who walk on them. You can also place them underwater to create a bubble column that you can breath in.
If you crouch on a magma block then it won't burn you.

Swords have a sweeping attack if you just hit the mob, if you jump before hand and land a critical hit it use the sweeping attack also Swords have a shorter charge up time than Axes so you can land more crits (Amazing video btw loving this series and very nice to watch)

you can hold shift while on magma block to not feel pain
Tip: If you jump and hit with the sword, the sweeping effect won’t activate, instead you will do a critical hit.

something very new(ish) to minecraft is dog armour made from armadillos in the savanna biome (and it's easier to find saddles, try leatherworking villagers, fishing, and other sources)...

I prefer killing hoses for leather their much more of a drama queen about been killed than cows who tend to come up to you hoping for the best but expecting the worst, are you going to drop the axe or not. God I nearly got into a song there. Great videos thanks.
