Just as a heads up, Tridents are EXTREMELY RARE, they can only be dropped by the trident-wielding drowned at a very low rate (unless you're playing bedrock, then it's closer to the standard drops)
You can also get it as one of the rarest items in the newest structure.

Hey fogey, put loyalty on your trident to get it to come back to you. Impaling, to kill the drowned, riptide will let you travel via air if you're in water and of course mending and unbreaking! Also Minecraft now has a chest boat. Make it by combining a chest and a boat.

@@fogey_ it's not, usually you need to manually go and grab it again, if your fighting a bunch of mobs, it could become a problem

Tip: biomes generate based on temperature, so youre not going to find a desert next to a snow tundra for instance. This is why you cant find a snowy mountain.

If you crouch on magma blocks you'll stop taking damage, plus magma blocks underwater fill up your air bar so it's good for mining underwater even if you don't have aqua affinity, haste or a conduit.
you can got pottery shards and stuff at ocean ruins with a copper brush on "suspicios gravel", that's the archeology mechanic, some people says it's boring but it's actually quite relaxing like fishing, and the pots are great for home! :]

You should get a brush (copper ingot and a feather) and look for suspicious gravel or sand when you see ocean ruins.
If you want to, you can craft a chest and then combine it with a boat in the crafting table for a bit of extra storage while you're traveling. However, you then wouldn't be able to put Lydia in the boat, and I'm fairly certain you can't break the boat without all the contents falling out, so it's only ideal in certain situations.

do you know about suspicious gravel and sand? in the temples like that you can find sus gravel and you have to brush it. it is in the 1.20 update. you brush and get various stuff from it. it sounds like a glass breaking when you break a sus gravel and sand, so you'll know that youve broken it
also, if you turn on the subtitles, you'll be able to tell what makes the sounds and the names of the mobs that are new to you

You should explore more
Minecraft items have 4 rarities - common, uncommon, rare and epic. The trident is purple by default, which makes it an epic item. Just think about that.
Guy goes for a swim and get a trident, some guys have all the luck. I rarely bother trying to get one there so hard to get. Hint keep it safe until enchanted with unbreaking-mending and most importantly loyalty.
Ahh yep, it's almost broken, I guess the ultimate noob thing to do would be to destroy it lol
Density is an enchantment for a new weapon called mace
You should up your render distance to see more

The ocean temple thing is called an "Ocean ruin"

When you brought up your F3 screen towards the end of the video it said Day 0. Earlier in the video it said day 7. Think your F3 is bugged!
I backup the world after each video recording session ever sinceI lost a Minecraft save when recording my Beta lets play series and had to restart it. That could be it!
