God’s Word is so fulfilling. Not only what was spoke about on this episode but all of God’s Word (all that God states is a sin) we must put aside while running this race.
Omg! Crazy I’m listening to this at work and glanced at the screen lol He was the football coach at my high school in 2014! Small world I used to run track and cross country he used to be like “you better run” 🤣 but he was always uplifting and great spirit! Glad to see coach Martin doing well 🙏🏾

Powerful episode, Coach dropped gems I fully agree with him and I really like how Duke isn’t afraid to respectfully challenge something he may not agree with , I didn’t get the analogy of a gay kid needing an identifying mark to identify as gay or bisexual !!

2. Know yourself because the devil will attack your identity.

4. God's Love is unconditional
Love is a safeplace, patient, kind & a choice

Love this podcast but had to tune out when the pastor spoke about correcting a child playing with a doll. Kids are just kids and many older people can’t understand that. Very refreshing to see Jalon and Omar challenge him as they should’ve!

He’s a life coach with a strong/great representation for young men especially in regards of being God fearing, leading a family, being faithfully married, and more. Even though he’s in his late 30’s he is wise beyond his years!

It’s so interesting that coach brought up the movie A Time to Kill, because I remember so vividly as a child my father found me walking somewhere I wasn’t supposed to unsupervised and he sat me down and made me watch that movie as a lesson 😭

Amazing episode. My wife is a coach herself and I struggle with the amount of time and effort she puts forth for her career but I feel she doesn’t give our daughter and our marriage the same effort. We are both full time employed. How does Coach’s wife deal and balance their life and her need for “more family time”
This was a beautiful episode it said everything that needed to be said and was delivered with a gentle truth that even if it was hard to hear it definitely should be digested because Coach was correct in all things! I was watching getting butterflies until he referenced not letting boys play with dolls. How do men develop to be nurturing fathers (change diapers, hold babies, want to nurture from 0 - 2) if the messaging when they're young is something is wrong with these kinds of activities? Sincere concern and question...
This thing about boys not playing with dolls and kitchen sets pisses tf out of me.

I owned a childcare facility for about 10 years and I had a parent who was really upset her son was playing with a doll one day when she came to pick him up. That same parent was heartbroken that her child's father refused to change diapers and otherwise participate in his care, believing that was "a woman's job". I asked her if her son is punished for what kids associate with taking care of a baby, would she be okay if he too (her son) refused to participate in taking care of his babies. That opened up her perspective. That son is in his mid twenties now and considered "a manly man" by his people (I wish that wasn't a thing, but worth mentioning because it seems it is).
I don’t think they’d find it offensive, your question is very valid and your explanation went even further. I remember duke saying they like feedback and thought provoking questions & this was that. I agree with you.
