It irritates me that a person surviving lessens the punishment or the severity of the crime. Stabbing someone 29 times is such an obvious intention to kill someone that the punishment should be the same as murder.

@@theemadamlo4092With all due respect, I get that. Believe me, I do. I was a dispatcher while in nursing school. This was common sense, though. The man on the phone is yelling "fire, fire, fire"...it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure out that the beeping is a smoke detector.
@@deniece0821 Oh my lord, that got me too. "Fire fire fire!" [distant sound of a fire alarm beeping] ".....what's that noise?" I mean, come ON. It doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to answer that question!
Wow, Thomas is kind of a badass for jumping on the intruder in that situation! And he must have had so much adrenaline going to not even initially realize he was being stabbed. That is a true friend right there.
I've heard soooo many 911 calls and I honestly think every single one is always so fucking rude. And this one was no exception. I just don't get it. These people calling are usually going through their worst day and your acting like a checker at Walmart. Disgusting. They need better training all around.
They are trained to get as much info as possible hence the unnecessary questions. I think it should be about saving lives and not collecting info for the prosecution later.
To be honest, the last time i called 911 i kind of appreciated the void of emotions from the operator. Made me way more level headed and factual so i freaked out less and helped better. Made me feel safer in a way.
The Chris Johnson interrogation genuinely caught me in the throat. From Ron’s background and life, it seemed like he was a parental figure for many of these men who probably didn’t have a stable upbringing or current life. Many of these guys had fights with Ron, and Ron would let them go essentially to the effect of- if this is how you wanna be, you gotta do it without my help. But Ron also seems like the guy who would take them back when they decided to get back on the right path. That audio clip was heartbreaking because Ron was probably the only person left in Chris’s life that was a steadying and decent force for good. You can hear in his voice how lost he feels.
Definitely homie, Chris seems like a Good dude who has traumatic life events that lead him to escape in drug abuse...he can be a productive guy if he can stay clean 😒🤔💯💯💯🧔🏾♂️
The dispatcher made me annoyed. I understand they are taught to stay calm but she asked the same question over and over instead of getting additional information. Rest in Peace Ron, I’m so sorry this happened to you. It is so sick what people would do for money.
The man was *STABBED* yet this dispatcher was making him talk not even addressing his wound, asked him to repeat himself several times like she was deaf, then threw any common sense left out the window when the fire alarm went off.. Yeah this woman totally deserves a promotion
I watch a LOT of true crime. And I mean a lot. There aren’t many cases I haven’t heard of. But it never ceases to amaze me how rude and disrespectful and insensitive these dispatchers are. And i mean like 90% of them on the calls I’ve heard. This man is yelling “fire! fire!” and she really asks “what’s that noise?” COME ON. Its obviously a smoke detector.
It doesn’t take a genius to be a 9-1-1 operator, unfortunately. If they were held accountable, as in criminally for their negligence, maybe we’d see some improvement. I shudder to think of the deaths caused by their indignant attitudes for just having answered their call, they always seem so inconvenienced by your very existence.
dispatcher behavior in 911 calls like this makes me wonder if they have any type of quality assurance. someone needs to essentially audit these calls and update training based on findings

Anytime our family goes anywhere we typically don’t go (husband, son and I) like a vacation, we ALWAYS take pictures every day of what we are wearing so if one of us went missing we had not only a recent pic but of what exactly we are wearing too. We then send each other all the pics so we all have them. Our son is now 16 and he doesn’t even complain about it. My husband is insanely safety conscious. I got seperated from him and son and didn’t have my phone at a huge event so since then we also pick a meeting spot if we split up or get split up unintentionally and can’t reach each other on our phones.
I knew a man like Ron, he helped troubled kids and he passed very suddenly (not anywhere close to as horrific as Ron’s passing tho). It really hurt everyone around me, but especially the young men who looked up to him as a mentor and someone who helped them out. Chris’s reaction is so genuine and it broke my heart. You can tell how much it meant to him to have Ron in his life. For troubled people, even one example of a good person can change everything for them, if even just to give them a sliver of hope. Chris clearly has problems, but that’s the reaction of someone in pain, and how he kept saying “he was a good dude” over and over is devastating because he probably didn’t know many of them. Made me so sad. RIP Ron

RIP Ron
Keep up the good work 💪🏻❤️ love from Finland
Wow, it seems like compassion, patience, kindness, and empathy need to be added to the curriculum for dispatcher training courses. 👁️👄👁️
