This is what so many hot shot individual players refuse to do on a drive. Why not go into the defender and eliminate a high % shot blocking opportunity when you can jut throw the ball up and look like a master. If more fundamentals were used like this with players who drive to the basket, they'd soon find that shot blockers wouldn't be a problem and their shooting % wouldn't need to be stat padded in games.
