It was great to see how calm and respectful serenity already is around the animals! It's clear by how she asked permission to touch the salamander and the way she was careful to not touch the other animals' faces that she's been taught well how to interact in a positive and respectful way with all sorts of wildlife!
I think she explained before that Augusto is just kind of timid and isn't as comfortable in front of the camera, so they stopped putting him in the intro since he was never really in front of the camera anymore and they didn't want to confuse anyone.
I rescued a savannah monitor from a pet store that had a broken and infected tail when I was a teenager many years ago. They couldn’t sell it because it was “damaged” and were going to “get rid of it”. I named him Frodrik and nursed him back to health and he lived out the rest of his life happily. Yay
Wow, it's disgusting that people treat animals like products. 😒 All the more reason to never buy an animal. It's reassuring that there's people like you who take the "defective" animals in and help them. 👍 The Snake Discovery channel recently had a video where they bought a snake that came with a hole in its tail and they nursed it back to health, but the seller insisted on them returning it in order to give them a refund. ¬_¬

Genetics is awesome, Jesse and Agusto's children are blonde and blue eyed! My aunt and uncle are an interracial marriage like theirs but their kids are very intermediate of their parents!
