Agree but no disrespect to Bonham
Great list! I would add Nick Menza and Steve 'Machine Gun' Smith as well 👍
I agree, Nick Menza and Steve Smith are amazing and made history. Have you heard Vital Tech Tones with Steve Smith, Scott Henderson and Victor Wooten? Thanks for commenting!
@@BackingTrackCenter I have not, but I will be picking that up. I have all of Steve's Vital Information releases, which are all excellent.
Man, you're gonna love this sound. Look for volume 1.
Carmine Appice
Animal, the best ever
Scott Rockenfeld, Queensryche...Barrie Barlow, Jethro Tull
@Backing Track Center: I liked your list, other good drummers: Rob Reinner, Matt Sorum, Cozy Powell, Nick Mason, Nicko McBrain, John Densmore, Tommy Aldridge, Herman Rarebell, Clive Burr, james Cottak, and many more; Salutes.
I'm glad you enjoyed the list. I've noted your suggestions for future videos. Thank you very much and welcome to the channel!
Keith moon must surely be in there
@@davidmurphy3421 no. 3
Nigel Glockner, the mighty SAXON & Nico from Maiden🙏
Eric Carr was always underrated. Never taken seriously because he was in Kiss.
The usual list with the most famous not the best...at least there is Ian Paice on It...
Buddy Rich?
No rich? Or krupa?
Buddy Rich was a great drummer, but he's more associated with jazz than rock, which is why he didn't make the list. Thanks for commenting!
El bonzo,neil peart,Will ward,vinnie appice,Ian paice,Cozzy Powel,scoot travis,boby rondinelli,lombardo,Tommy aldrige,Eric singer.
Where is Cozy Powell 😊
On this list Cozy got an honorable mention, but on the next list, which will be based on the opinions of our subscribers, I'm sure it will be in a good position. Thanks for commenting!
Charlie Watts never needed a watch to keep time. The watch needed Charlie Watts.
Perfect!
Terry Bozzio ( Zappa in New York,The Black Page).
We all know that Neil Peart is unequalled 🎉
Glad to see Tommy ramone made it in there…he wa
S a legend in making other drummers know they can be in a band and not have to play like pert..also did Hal Blaine make it
I agree! Tommy Ramone proved that less is more and inspired so many. As for Hal Blaine, he didn’t make the main list, but he’s undoubtedly a legend. Thanks for commenting!
I knew who was in first place before watching the video. Matter of fact I knew that John Bonham was the best after have listened to Moby Dick, Rip John.
Definitely, "Moby Dick" is one of the greatest showcases of Bonham's drumming skills. And the way he improvised live was out of this world. Thanks for commenting!
But you remember something this is all subjective it is not in stone
👍👍
But Loulou Tielman is the most underrated of'em all. Nice that you included him.
Also there was Rod d'Ath.
Loulou Tielman truly has a unique talent, too bad he doesn't always get the credit he deserves. Rod d’Ath is another amazing name. Thanks for commenting!
Charlie Watts, Bonzo, Stece Jansen, Bill Bruford, Alan White, Phil Collins....
I'd like to throw in an Honorable Mention to a guy named QUINTON KUFAL. Search "Chöpper" and "Phase". Then watch his SEVEN chaper series called "The Vengeance". Its a dark themed comic book "noir", with inspiration from Batman.
Great comments and drummers.shoulda made it 20- 25? Barrimore barlowe, palmer, bernard purdie, phil collins, ansley dunsbarr.couple of my personal faves are, weird reasons.spencer dreydon, sammy piazza
Yeah, maybe 15 was too few for so much talent! Thanks for commenting!
My Fav- Phil Ehart - Kansas.... A Machine with sticks.
Ian paice has always been underrated 😭
Amen dear Jesus
Alex van Halen..
Lars Ulrich & Rick Allen should be in the Top 5.
Volveré a ver.... Gracias.!
¡Me alegro que te haya gustado!
John Bonham!!!
Cozy?
Cozy was mentioned in the honorable mentions! He's amazing, but since we only had 15 positions, some giants ended up being left out. We'll soon make a list based on the opinions of our subscribers and Cozy Powell will definitely be on it. Thanks for commenting!
Here's a couple you missed along the way:
Rick Allen of Def Leppard, and Matt Sorum of Guns, and Roses/Velvet Revolver.
As usual Bonham is no. 1 even though Peart could play anything Bohnam could play but Bonham couldn't play everything Peart plays
I will always pick Neil Peart over John bottom any day of the week
