You could clearly see how Rener's energy and enthusiasm which he's famous for just kept declining as the interview went on to the point where he was nothing like himself - grumpy and pissed, barely wanting to speak. Now, ether he's the greatest actor in the world or he was genuinly irritated.
Rener 100% is in on the gig. He played his part like a champ.

Watching this again 4 years on and this coming from a British guy raised on the likes of The Office, Peep Show and Ali G, Renato Laranja is one of the best ideas/performers to come from the United States. Shame it didn’t get more attention.

HILARIOUS! I didn't know Rener was such a good actor. FYI, all the guests on this show know the "Renato Laranja" character is fictional and play along. "Rhasaan Orange" is an actor who's played a regular recurring role on "Days of our Lives" and also been on Star Trek, but he is a an actual BJJ Black Belt. I was fooled by him the first time too, LoL.
