Just across the street from Central Market in Phnom Penh, you’ll find an amazing local spot for lunch that serves Cambodian flaming beef in a cow shaped pan. They light the cast iron skillets on fire, and then toss in some beef, seasoning, onions, eggs, and finish it off with some sauces and green onions. One of the best things about the dish is watching them being made and the lady that makes them could probably do it with her eyes closed, she’s done it so many times.
You eat the flaming beef pan and juices with rice, and it goes perfectly together, especially with some extra added chilies and chili sauce.
We ate here on a spur of the moment, just walking by in Phnom Penh and looking for something delicious to eat, and it turned out to be a must eat in Phnom Penh.

Ying is a trooper! She can still shoot some scenes with a heavy camera whilst holding baby Micah! Ying, you are a working mama at her best! 😍 Mark, I love it that you've incorporated your whole family into your channel! A family that plays together, stays together! 🙂 By the way, I can't eat some of the food that you feature because I'm a Muslim but it has given me ideas of how I can change some of the ingredients to suit my religious beliefs. This channel has grown so much this year.I remember a few years ago it had less than 300K subscribers and i thought it was the greatest eating-traveling channel ever.And this guy deserves all of it he worked hard for this,made quality videos and he has a great personality too.
Totally agree. I spotted this channel a few years ago when was travelling to Kenya in 2013 and, guess what? I was inspired by Mark's street food videos in Nairobi and pointing out to other attractions in this city, like having fun to ride on the back of an ostrich. Ever since I am devoted to Mark's channel. His personal development into a modern family man just added more to this channel. BEST travel/food channel on the Web! Keep going Mark, Ying and Micah.

I have always had the utmost love and respect for Ying, but this video just highlights her awesomeness. Just casually mothering Micah and filming those awesome close-up shots. All without eating while Mark is eating. Mark struck gold with this woman!

Nancy, I can live with his same facial expression after he tries any dish, but his description of dishes is limited. I also feel he is a genuine guy but you seen one video, you seen them all sort of thing watching him.

I have been there recently on my trip through cambodia and i have to say it is even more delicious than your video make it out to be. ate 3 portions and it was heavenly. The menu has pictures to point at cause nobody there speaks english.
Cant recomment it hard enough, must eat when in Phnom Penh!

Another great one, so yummy and i love the pickled garlic idea, I pickle onions that is awesome too. Gta love that chili n hot chili oil. I always have it on hand make it myself or walk 2 Chinatown and get the best quality already made that I find, it goes on everything I even make a hot chili oil dip stirred up till creamy with whipped cream cheese n crackers yumm.
