Playground across from Wat Phnom brought me back a lot of memories back to the early 60s as my parent brought us to play there all the time. The fruit bats on the trees were also there then with some wild monkeys playing around. Your exercise at the riverfront is killing me as I'm watching you. PP City was so peaceful then before the civil war started in 1970 with a few cars and a lot of mopeds and bicycles. I had to leave the country after surviving the genocide in late 1979 but most of my family members did not survive. I've returned to visit the country every year for the last ten years since my retirement and I agreed with you the US has become very expensive to live. I'll return in a few months to see my only surviving sister who still lives there. Thanks for sharing this to the world about Cambodia as the country has changed so much since I left. Great video. Next time i go to PP i'll check out the wat and market. The banh mi are 2500(65 cents) in siem reap but the bread is average and the fillers less than yours but its tasty and affordable for all..
