SWATCH INSTRUCTIONS 1-color brioche flat knit
Materials:
4mm needles, 10-15g of yarn in Worsted Weight
Swatch Instructions:
Odd num of sts with slipped stitch selvedge.
CO an odd number of sts loosely.
Setup Row: Sl1 kwise wyib, [sl1yo, k1] until end of row.
R1: Sl1 kwise wyib, [brk1, sl1yo] until last 2 sts, brk1, k1.
R2: Sl1 kwise wyib, [sl1yo, brk1] until last 2 sts, sl1yo, k1.
Rep R1-R2 to desired length.
BO loosely using regular bind-off. But remember to knit the 2 strands of a sl1yo stitch together as one stitch.
STITCH HELP
Brioche Knit (brk)
Knit the stitch and its corresponding yarn-over together.
Sl1yo followed by brk or knit stitch
Step 1: Bring yarn to the front as if ready to purl.
Step 2: Slip next st purlwise from left to right needle.
Step 3: Bring yarn over the right needle and over the top of the slipped stitch to the back,
ready to knit or brk the next stitch.
