WHAT'S INSIDE?! Cutting Big Montana Agates, Mexican Lace, Dryheads, and More with Montana Rock Mom!

- In this one, we join forces with our good friend @MontanaRockMom and slab up a heap of gorgeous Agates! We gathered up a pile of Montana Agates, Dryhead agate, Mexican Crazy Lace agate, Bear Canyon Agate, Brazilian agate, and some agatized coral and bring them up to Kim's to let Drogon feast! I can not believe our results! Phenomenal Montana moss agates, some of which bear Iris, bright red Brazilian agates, vividly banded lace and dryhead agates, and one surprise giant mystery agate that turned out to be a 9.5 pound Montana Agate!!! This one was just waaay too much fun! I hope you all enjoyed this one, and keep your eyes out for more rock cutting and lapidary videos coming very soon!

The big red and big blue were beauties!!!
That dry head was spectacular with the close ups....
Ok, where to start. The crazy lace was beautiful. The bear canyon was awesome. The montana agate, of course has iris. The dry head, what can i say besides.....amazing! the geodes were very pretty! The corals were really gorgeous, even the dud. The montana agates are always amazing, and of course they have iris! The next montana agate was absolutely amazing! The brazillian agate was of course, gorgeous. The huge mystery agate, was awesome! The jasper was really stunning! My favorite is impossible to pick. I love them all so much! I cant possibly pick a favorite! Great Video! Its always a good time when you are with Kim! Loved seeing a cameo by Alexis!

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome! I loved all of them. The one with the gills, holy smokes! I loved the one with iris you've been holding onto, so pretty. And that weird pattern one was magnificent. The Bear Canyon really cool. But, the Brazilian was the Belle of the Ball. Sweet video, Theo.

That weird Montana agate would have looked totally different if you had cut it on another angle. It's just cut cross grain if you will & totally changed how the dendrites look. I think the agate was my favorite 🤣😂
I found a fist size agate like rock in rural Iowa recently in a stream bed. When I picked it up I thought it was smoky quartz, but when I washed it off it had some red and chartreuse. When I slabbed it there were no layers, but there were translucent blooms and flames of clear, red, chartreuse, gray and white. It cut and polished like quartz, but the fine details are fractal.
I can only think it tumbled south from Lake Superior with a glacier.

I got an idea for a craft after looking at those beautiful agates! What do you think about trying to make a picture with the agates that look like a map from the sky? Maybe like a mosaic? Each one makes me think of unusual landscapes. Let me know if you will try it. I wish I had some to try it myself. Keep up the awesome finds.

Well, that was awesome. Not gonna lie. That dryhead was definitely my favourite followed closely by that brecciated jasper. Never a bad day when you and Kim get together for a day of slabbing. Wow with the crazy lace. Stunning. The microscope pic were amazing. The iris agate. But i have an odd question with all the bands in the Brazilian agate is it possible there could be an iris/Brazilian agate? And loved the geode that was cut off centre and the jasper is breathtaking thanks for doing the video and sparking my rock loving mind. 😀

That one with the waterline looks like you cut a snake head and there's bird claws/talons in there. Don't know if the bird got the snake or the snake got the bird. Nice fossils/agates.
