VGG sells a patina seal kit with different levels of shine. A feller might check it out. 👍 He also does a video where he shows you the recipe if you want a more Diy approach.✌️
The best thing I know for the patina is linseed oil . I know you are concerned about it attracting dust n dirt but you can really wipe this off after letting it soak in for a while . It's about the best thing I found
My twin brother and I had our dad help in making a buggy with a cutdown model A frame, a Packard hood, 4 10 inch wheels and tires and a 28 hp Wisconsin engine . Boy that was fun . Thanks for bringing that memory back to me, as my brother and dad have both past on making projects in heaven .
Love your new intro. I think it is pretty amazing the you actually lived to become an adult. Glad to see the kid coming back out in you. Just hope the injuries are minimal when you get this new wagon on the road. Love you, Mom.❤️
when i built ratbicycles or working with vintage bicycles i use just boiled linseed oil or linseed oil with mineral spirit depending on what finnish i going for
Was wondering if you've got suitcase weights for the front, or wheelie bars? Might have to be careful if you lean back, lol! Gonna need the back brace too, unless y'all find a smooth parking lot, ow - ow, lol! Thanx !
I cant vouch for how it would work but id look at either silicone or ceramic based coatings. Potentially even wax but i feel like wax would trap moisture where ceramic and silicone repel moisture and dirt.
Vice grip garage. Has a wipe in clear coat he invented. He has a few episodes showing him using it and making it. But recently he started making it and selling it on this merch site. Shit will hold that look but make it shine and last forever. Stop the rust all in one.
Lol, was gonna comment, way back was shown boiled linseed but cut it with some mineral spirits (I've used that a 50/50 for wood, leaves a satin finish & isn't oily...
@@DIRTBIKEFAB lol! Right on. I’ve been an auto technician for many years as well. Most of my experience was GM dealerships. So, my fabrication skills are horrible. But I love working on my dirtbikes for fun.
I have seen that truck before. Although it is impressive I think the capabilities of a well used Chrysler minivan that is piloted by a skilled driver is what is what is impressive
Have you heard of mustie1 on UA-cam? He uses toilet rings melted down and rubbed onto his vw truck named crusty. It preserved the patina and sealed it from rusting anymore
This isnt an amazon build, most guys that would order from Amazon are on a budget , which means they are not going to have any of the tools or means to the modifications you're making. Thumbs down 👎 at that part. Which is your entire title base. Otherwise its nice work.
vice grip garage has the best fomula and they supply it per made. the best is you can make at home. its from all the videos ive seen one of the best for the resultes you are looking for.

Chads fab knows what to use to keep the rusty look and stop it from getting worse
Puddins fab shop uses patina sauce from sweet patina.
Pretty cool looks like you need to take two wagons and make one stretched one. You could even put the engine in the rear. To allow it to sit lower.
Maybe u guys should challenge Roby Latin and fab rats to a wagon race with motor restrictions
when i built ratbicycles or working with vintage bicycles i use just boiled linseed oil or linseed oil with mineral spirit depending on what finnish i going for
Sweet patina sauce ! Does exactly what you want
I'd get ahold of Robbie Layton or Chad's Fab regarding sealing the patina. Great project!
I've built a couple of carts to pull at the car shows. My latest is a 60 s Jeep peddle car raised up with quad tires. No motor just pull behind.

Yes I am. I have been in the automotive/diesel trade for the last 33 years. (Yep I’m that old).
