- Building a DIY home made go kart gas tank appropriate for a mini rat rod. Tin can, brass fittings and some silver solder,... old school rodder style. This video finishes the rat rod go kart build,... sort of, ...the remaining 20% of odds and ends probably wont warrant a video, so next up will hopefully be a ride video!
The RAT ROD Go Kart build continues! If you're new to the channel or this build, the wheel barrow rat rod build idea started when we found an old wheel barrow bucket on the side of the road almost a year ago, and a year of searching Facebook Marketplace for the perfect old derelict go kart frame to mount it on to make a wheel barrow go kart mini rat rod thing. The question had been, what do we call the junkyard go kart? Is it a RAT ROD? Is it a Go Kart? Is it a mini Hot Rod? Is it a RAT ROD GO KART? Or is it simply a RAT KART? We decided on RATKART. The bigger question, is anyone searching for a RAT KART BUILD video to watch?

Thank you, it's good to be back! We have a couple of projects in mind and we've had a couple of things donated to the channel... it may come down to what parts we can get shipped.
He's gonna have his own shop someday.

Cool video, i love that front end, maybe we will have to make a rat rod on our channel XD. How much money do you have in it so far?
We don't have a breakdown...something about "records can be found by your Mother"
I think we're at around $500 or less. Wheels and tires, pedals, engine, CVT, stage 1 kit, tie rods and the shifter knob were the only parts bought (frame=$50 on FB marketplace), other than some material and hardware. Wheels and tires definitely where the biggest expense.
The front end looks awesome Drago. Check your email wen you can and let me know what you would want to do on getting the mini bike
I think my Dad just replied to you, he shoed me the pictures of your buggy, I like the way your front end looks-was designed. I don't remember being able to see it so well on the video and really only remember the secondary tubes he put in for the upper pivots, I may think about doing mine over and starting with a new rack and pinion instead of trying to work it in after the suspension is done.

@@FukTheGovernment465 We're going to try to incorporate the portion of the hood with the louvers on it to make a hood,...maybe,...it's looking weird right now.
@@DragoWerx Ha ha ha yeah it needs a hood now that their is a grill, the grill looks good but looks incomplete without a hood.
