When we got our bed, my husband and I thought we could get the frame up. Wrong, we ended up calling the store for Saleman to come over and set it up,we were so grateful, but with this video, I think we can master it 😅.

I wasn't sure if the frame I had would expand to fit the king. I noticed all the parts of the one in your video were exactly like the one I had. It worked like a charm!!!! I hope everyone learns from my mistake. I was putting the small end of the rivets through the BIG hole and wondering why it kept falling out when I would slide it. Took me a while to figure out to put the big end of the rivet into the BIG hole. Don't ask me why. I finally have it set up though.

as a kid i was running in a room and hit my leg on the corner of the frame. It cut deep and wide and I had to get stitches. very gruesome sight lol. be careful

Where could I find a replacement to the small metal rails that connect to the two main rails? The movers lost them while I was relocating to work.

That's a tuff one. First I'd call my local furniture store and tell them the pieces you're missing and see if they have the parts laying around. If not you can do a online search...try amazon. They might have someone selling replacement parts for that.

My frame is about a foot too short for the king bed it supports? Will this still be okay? Having an overhang makes me nervous.
That is how the frame looks, your mattress will overhang a little, but that is normal. Thanks!

Hey, Justin do you know if it's possible to find that extanded middle piece by itself anywhere? (Piece with holes in it) while moving we lost those pices now we have our box spring on the floor because the frame is small.

I wonder why they don't add a bar to go across for the king size bed with a split box spring

I have an old frame . It doesn't come with a middle beam. Any suggestions? Maybe get a piece a wood and lay it across the middle? Thanks and great video.
Sorry for the slow response John. If you're going to get some wood and put it across use three pieces of wood on the head, middle and foot. This will help to keep it flat and level and would work just fine.

I lost my spacers during a move. is there a screw I can get from Lowe's or something if so what size screws
I don't know the size you need but that would work just fine if you got some screws, nuts & washers for it. It would actually make it a much stronger hold.

Why is it that mine came brand new but only came with two gliders for the center support and four wheels. I have hard wood floors.

Try a furniture store. They might be able to help.
So do you not need the center bar if you have a queen bed? There is no way to connect it with the space bar

i had someone tell me that metal bed frames need slats even when using a boxspring? is this true? it just doesn't make any sense whatsoever? it seems like slats would offer nothing in terms of support. just a waste.
