I bought myself the full size one in Argentina. Bersa offers warranty for life and its said to be a great product for the price. Greetings from down under.
A solid gun indeed! Went to my local gun shop and they showed my this Bersa... I’d never heard of Bersa before.. so I got it and glad I did! Now looking for the Thunder 380...
Wanted the full-sized version but was not lucky enough to find that but I did find the smaller version tprc 9 and I love it. I live in Illinois in the County of Cook which is always refered to as Crook County, bought it for just under 500.00, it is now my carry, awesome weapon for it's size.
My brother recently purchased a Bersa TPR9c and after carrying it to the range, was totally sold. I really liked the way this gun looks, feels, and the features. I've tried to find one at several local gun shops and no one carries them. I may have to find some shop to order one instead.
Bersa from Argentina makes some of the most reliable handguns arround the world. Certainly it lacks the glamour and fame of HK, Sig, Glock, Walther, etc. but Bersa will never dissapoint you concernig reliability, accuracy and craftmanship. Everybody should have a Bersa in his collection.
We carried the Thunder 9's at my gpa's shop we didn't sell a ton unfortunately but heard great things about em. And the trigger pull is one of the best DA/SA triggers you will ever come across out of the box.
I have never seen a 9mm that has so many useful features and such great functionality. I am planning to buy the full-sized version with a threaded barrel for myself. For concealed carry I still like the Thunder 380 CC. If it was any smaller it would be difficult to handle.
When I was working at my local gun store, Bersa's were a staple. We made sure we always had some in stock. We never had any complaints about fit, function or durability. I would expect this model to perform well also.
I bought the BERSA Thunder Plus 15+1 380 recently. It shoots outstanding and is accurate at the distances that round is most effective. I train at 9ft-21ft with the 380 ACP. I was looking to trade my P-365 the other day. Great gun, but I have owned it and sold it so many times I realized it just wasn't my flavor. I saw this Bersa TPRC 9MM and after holding it and giving it the once over it's now mine. Shot it today and 100 rounds went without a flaw at combat distances. I bought it to carry not compete. I have competition guns. Anyway people need to jump on this Bersa gem. Don't let the name fool you. they are well made and accurate.
I have the predecessor to this gun. Thunder 9 UC pro. Just love to shoot it. Up graded the sights to the trijicon night sights. Just perfect for it. Such a underrated gun!
Thanks to your review, I bought one of these. Just got back from first shooting session. Wow! This thing shoots great. It’s everything you said it was.
The founders were Benso Bonadimani, Ercole Montini and Savino Caselli. BERSA is BensoERcoleSAvino. Montini worked in Beretta and Caselli in Olivetti. Regards
I literally JUST learned about this piece earlier today! As a lefty, I love seeing these pieces that cater to us w/the ambidextrous features. I have HK's, Walthers and Grand Powers that do so. I'll definitely be adding this Bersa TPR9c as well as that Bersa TPR45c. Both in Duotone. Wooo!! Great review as always GB.
I've got one and it is so comfortable to shoot and requiring your sight line up is instantaneous due to the slight recoil. Best 9mm I've ever owned.Thank you Bersa.
I noticed you was like the first to dedicate reviews on all types of brands from all over the world. I now see some channels following due to the fact that they are running out of popular brands to review. I personally fot tired of glock vs this sig vs that. Thank you.
Thanks for the great Review... I just bought a 9mm Bersa TPR9C in Dutone. Such a Sweet under-rated gun. I'm a hammer guy myself. Fully Abi except for the magazine catch which can be swapped over. The safety lever is Both a safety and a decocker. Frame is all aluminum Not Plastic. Can fire in both DA/SA. For a factory trigger its actually pretty good, especially in SA. Very short reset. 13 round mag capacity and come with 2 mags. Comes apart with a flip of a lever. Picatinny rail for a light/Lazer. Lifetime Warranty. I Iooked for a long time for a gun like this and the Only ones who came close was a CZ or Berretta PX4 Strom Compact But both were several hundred dollars more. The down sides are mags are hard to find and when you do there Expensive and for my smaller hands the grip is way too wide to be 100% comfortable but I can live with it. Finally I bought mine New for under 375 but had to special order it. Nobody stocks this pistol.. I love mine, just a fantastic Under Rated Pistol.....
Just bought the Thunder 9 Ultra Compact Pro a few months ago and heard there was a replacement on the way, this is obviously it. Pretty much the same gun with some changes. I love my Thunder 9 Ultra Compact Pro, you will likely love this version as well. Not sure what the new version is selling for, I got mine for $400 online, a lot less than my friend paid for her Glock. Bersa makes a great gun for the money.
My husband has the larger Bersa Pro Thunder (police model) and has been waiting to get the concealed carry gun ! Very reliable, well made, and extra mags are available from MidwayUSA !
when i first watch this video i cannot sleep anymore this pistol is always on my mind.... i do have other pistol like glock 17 and 1911 but this bersa tpr9c is amazing i love the design i love how it function.... how i wish i can also have that pistol....
My wife carries the Thunder 9 Ultra Compact Pro, exact same controls, interior , sights, and magazines. They changed some cosmetics of the slide, and frame is all. We have had zero function issues through several hundreds of rounds sent down range. Looking forward to your shooting review.
Firearm guy, I've bee trying to tell you what a good DA/SA Compact the Bersa Ultra Compact Pro was and you should review it! The TPR9C is even Better! It's the best DA/SA Compact for $400.00 on the planet! Great carry size!
Bob Wampler I have the Thunder 380 and immediately went after the Thunder Pro (which is the same as the one in this video except full size). All I can say is: I hope people don't catch on to Bersa's value because that will keep them inexpensive for me.
Bob Wampler I agree with you there. The grip is a little large for me, but I expected that out of a full size. I have NOT seen any after market grips for these... the .380 however has a little cult following and you can find some neat grips: rubber, wood, multi color... If grip is the only complaint, you've got yourself a great handgun and since I admittedly have small hands... I know my Bersa is baddd.
All this is is a Bersa Thunder UC9 Pro with a makeover but it seems all in a positive way except possibly the grips. They seem to be not as aggressive as the ones on the UC9 thus slicker and needing Talon grips. I hope the trigger is as good as the ones I have on my UC9s which are the best I ever pulled on a DA/SA semi auto. Looks like a homerun by Bersa!
I had a thunder 380 and loved it. I bought a thunder 45 and the empties ejected right into my forehead, the finish started peeling off after the first time I shot it, and when I went to see if the finish under the extractor was peeling, I managed to put a wooden toothpick through the extractor area into the firing pin channel. Needless to say I wasn't happy. Honestly though, I am pretty interested in this gun now.
I've got that gun it is in excellent investment. I'm a lefty FYI the mag release can be flipped and an excellent trigger in both double and single action
You’re getting some good early access to firearms to review. Good work. Yeah, the new Sig only holds 10 so I’d like to see a size comparison. Nice contours on the top of the slide. I like metal frames.
I'm glad someone is reviewing Bersa, I am going to purchase a Bersa for next next toy, either the New Bersa TPR series or the older Thunder Pro40 series ... I'm looking forward to your shooting experience with the New TPR series, thanks ....
Certainly different than my old Bersa 85. Still had 13 and one. Goldish color and resembled the wal ppk. Back then i think 88grs was about all you could find but it is accuratcy even at 20 yards.
I recently purchased this gun and agree with you it is a great pistol. I've put about 400 rounds through it in three weeks. I'm by no means a firearms expert but I know what I like and I enjoy shooting this gun so well I have the TPR45c en route to my favorite FFL shop right now. The only issue I'm having is finding an appropriate IWB holster for my TPR9C. I'd welcome any advice folks have on finding a good holster. Keep the great reviews coming. Thanks
Mark Polley I got my holster at Craftholsters.com for my Bersa Thunder Pro 4.25 9mm pistol ( around $90 leather OWB) Don’t know if they have it for this new Gun from Bersa. It’s a special order from Overseas and it takes like 5 Weeks! Very good quality work !
The TPR9c is the second Bersa pistol I've purchased. The TPR9c is a rugged service firearm. I've found that it will "eat" every ammo variation that I've fed it. This one serious CCA service arm.
Triple serial number is on pretty much all imported handguns. Single number only on USA made handguns. Never really understood that but it is what it is. Like Berea alot, have the thunder pro .40 full-size and compact. Great guns,no complaints. Really like the looks of the tpr9c.
I just got a tpr9c with the threaded barrel. I put a hk mini comp on it. I also took it apart and did a light polish on the trigger, sear, slide, hammer where it touches the slide, and hammer spring bar. I cut 2 coils on the hammer spring, and replaced the trigger spring with a beretta 92 spring. The beretta spring look pretty close to the stock one, and goes right in. It's a bit thinner, and helps lighten the trigger pull. I did all this before shooting it. Took it to the range today and compared it to my beretta m9, with the 16 lbs hammer spring. Man was I surprised! The trigger was super smooth, reset very short, and with the recoil was less than my beretta! Maybe the mini comp helped with recoil, but I was surprised with how little recoil it had. It's my first bersa, and wouldn't hesitate to get another! Great value for the money.
young oh I was born in Maryland. That is THE ONLY connection with that place I will claim. If they ever become a Free State again, I will once again call it a good thing.
Super nice !!! I love bersa handguns I own a older thunder 380 sadly it been thru the ringer time to maybe get a new one or at the least get a refinish great video bud thanks
Provided a good holster can be had, that looks a lot easier to lug around than a Beretta 92A1. It took me a while, but I've determined that, for me at least, the DA/SA action is the best for a carry gun. I would like the safety to be a decocker only to avoid possibility of engagement.
The thunder 380 was the first gun I ever bought. I unfortunately had to sell it which I’m still kicking myself for. I will def buy another one once I have $
Another nice thing: Polygonal rifling :-) Great video, thank you sir, may you have a nice day! Edit: Also, sights are interchangeable with Sig sights, which got lots of aftermarket options should you feel like, or need changing them.

I didn't get a chamber flag with my 92x. I'm a lefty too now. That is the first gun. We were planning to get one before the world went wrong and I paid too much money but I love it three magazines.
I have a Bersa Thunder 380 and have relentlessly been trying to find the 380plus. Love the Bersa This one appears to be a 9mm? Awesome review and would really love this Bersa too Great design. Did not mention, if the magazine is dropped does this one also not fire?
Looks like a well made gun can’t wait until you shoot it . I knew they where coming out (the eagle import guy told me that handles or region) at gun show . Said fit and finish had be upgraded to compete better in the market place.
I bought myself the full size one in Argentina. Bersa offers warranty for life and its said to be a great product for the price. Greetings from down under.
It is a great product, if any issue might arise the argentine manufacturer will everything necessary to fix them the AT NO COST - LIFELONG
Even in 2023 this is kinda in its own category. I think this fits all my wants in a CCW.
I bought one a while back, the weight of it negates the recoil a bit
Bersa is so underrated

Yes they pretty much have to be ordered. We found some and have them linked in the Affordable Handgun list at GBGUNSDEPOT.COM
As a lefty I love guns that have ambi slide controls and I'm glad to see more guns these days embracing that

Where was this gun shop? Do they still supply the Bersa?
Good to see a spare mag included in that package. They didn't include one with the Bersa Thunder!

I have one and once I adjusted my sight picture, I love this gun. Has proven to be very reliable.
Thanks to your review, I bought one of these. Just got back from first shooting session. Wow! This thing shoots great. It’s everything you said it was.
Greetings from Argentina... Home of Bersa guns!!
Nikola Tesla Thank you Argentinians for making this gun, from the Phillipines
Tank's maaan....... Argentine pride, made for you!!!!!!
Bersa TPR .40 ;)
I had never heard that

Found one new for $343.00 over the internet. Already have it and will shoot it next week. Seems to be very well made.
I noticed you was like the first to dedicate reviews on all types of brands from all over the world. I now see some channels following due to the fact that they are running out of popular brands to review.
I personally fot tired of glock vs this sig vs that. Thank you.
A beautiful gun. First compact 9 I’ve been interested in beside the px.
Thanks for the great Review...

Great choice
My husband has the larger Bersa Pro Thunder (police model) and has been waiting to get the concealed carry gun ! Very reliable, well made, and extra mags are available from MidwayUSA !
I have a Bersa Thunder 45 compact and that things shoots really smoothly.
What an excellent firearms review. Love my Bersa Thunder.
when i first watch this video i cannot sleep anymore this pistol is always on my mind.... i do have other pistol like glock 17 and 1911 but this bersa tpr9c is amazing i love the design i love how it function.... how i wish i can also have that pistol....
bersa is an awesome gun. Very underrated. Excellent quality and extremely reliable.
I have a bersa thunder 380, love it... Like the look of this 9mm...nice review
My wife carries the Thunder 9 Ultra Compact Pro, exact same controls, interior , sights, and magazines.
They changed some cosmetics of the slide, and frame is all.
We have had zero function issues through several hundreds of rounds sent down range.
Looking forward to your shooting review.
Prepper Overwatch Do the Thunder 9 UC Pro magazines fit the new TPR9C? I can't find extra tpr9c mags for sale. Thanks.
That's a good question, I am not sure. Maybe Graham can find out?
Great review. I need that gun
TheFireArmGuy Ikr right dan!
TheFireArmGuy Can’t wait to see your review!
TheFireArmGuy What's your choice between this and the American compact by Ruger?
Firearm guy, I've bee trying to tell you what a good DA/SA Compact the Bersa Ultra Compact Pro was and you should review it! The TPR9C is even Better! It's the best DA/SA Compact for $400.00 on the planet! Great carry size!
Rob, does the Bersa Thunder UC Pro in 9 mm take the same magazines as this firearm?
I love my Bersa 380cc. Great gun! Great value! This one looks like another winner.
wish the thunder 380 was a 9mm it fits my hand so well...I could easily manage a more aggressive recoil with it. great vid dude.
Interesting gun. The sights look damn good.
It is as accurate as my full size guns. I put a set of tritium fiber optic sights on mine. Reliable and fun to shoot.
Thought this was clunky, but thorough review, I like it! And lefty friendly. Wish this came out before I got a Bursa Thunder 380 ages ago.
I am a fan of the Bersa Thunder 380 and I think this is a vastly overlooked pistol. I would love to try one.
Bob Wampler I have the Thunder 380 and immediately went after the Thunder Pro (which is the same as the one in this video except full size). All I can say is: I hope people don't catch on to Bersa's value because that will keep them inexpensive for me.
Rob Hodge I think the only thing I wish I could change is the thickness of the grip. Have you found anything in the aftermarket?
Bob Wampler I agree with you there. The grip is a little large for me, but I expected that out of a full size. I have NOT seen any after market grips for these... the .380 however has a little cult following and you can find some neat grips: rubber, wood, multi color...
If grip is the only complaint, you've got yourself a great handgun and since I admittedly have small hands... I know my Bersa is baddd.
I have a Bersa Thunder 380 and like it very much. Because of your review this TPR9C will be my next gun.
Just bought the tpr9 and I love it!
All this is is a Bersa Thunder UC9 Pro with a makeover but it seems all in a positive way except possibly the grips. 9mm or 380
That gun is badass!!! I have to purchase one.
I had a thunder 380 and loved it. I've got that gun it is in excellent investment. I'm a lefty FYI the mag release can be flipped and an excellent trigger in both double and single action
Well done review. What a well designed and finely made piece. I want one.
You’re getting some good early access to firearms to review. Good work. Yeah, the new Sig only holds 10 so I’d like to see a size comparison. Nice contours on the top of the slide. I like metal frames.
Bersa is definitely overlooked
I'm glad someone is reviewing Bersa, I am going to purchase a Bersa for next next toy, either the New Bersa TPR series or the older Thunder Pro40 series ... I'm looking forward to your shooting experience with the New TPR series, thanks ....
This really shows how to reassemble. Nice!
Certainly different than my old Bersa 85. Still had 13 and one. Goldish color and resembled the wal ppk.
Back then i think 88grs was about all you could find but it is accuratcy even at 20 yards.
That is a nice looking pistol, thanks for the info. I didn't know this one was even out yet, looking forward to the range video.
Trigger reset and wall looked funky...stacking...
I recently purchased this gun and agree with you it is a great pistol. I've put about 400 rounds through it in three weeks. I'm by no means a firearms expert but I know what I like and I enjoy shooting this gun so well I have the TPR45c en route to my favorite FFL shop right now. Mark Polley I got my holster at Craftholsters.com for my Bersa Thunder Pro 4.25 9mm pistol ( around $90 leather OWB)
Don’t know if they have it for this new Gun from Bersa.
It’s a special order from Overseas and it takes like 5 Weeks!
Very good quality work !
How is the tpr45c treating you now? Do you like the 9mm better? I'm not sure if I want the 45.
The TPR9c is the second Bersa pistol I've purchased. The TPR9c is a rugged service firearm. I've found that it will "eat" every ammo variation that I've fed it. This one serious CCA service arm.
They're great guns
Una Pistola de esa Marca es Garantía! Saludos de México.
AWESOME BERSA!!!
It's my first bersa, and wouldn't hesitate to get another! Great value for the money.
Excited for this gun..cant wait to get my hands on one although it maybe a few months, living in MD..
young oh I was born in Maryland. That is THE ONLY connection with that place I will claim. If they ever become a Free State again, I will once again call it a good thing.
I was born and raised in MD as well. Beautiful state except for Baltimore City. I miss it sometimes. But their gun laws are straight hot garbage
Super nice !!! I love bersa handguns I own a older thunder 380 sadly it been thru the ringer time to maybe get a new one or at the least get a refinish great video bud thanks
Reminds me of the Bersa 9mm Thunderer from the late 90's.
Thanks for another great review... getting harder to find Dbl action compacts , Locked and loaded... double action is my safety!
Really? There is a plethora of dbl action compacts out there, and more coming out all the time. Now DA/ SA offerings is another thing.
Just ordered one . I have 2 Bersa Thunder 380 plus pistols and love them.
Would love to find one of these locally..
Thanks for showing the Bersa lock system early in the video. That was enough to let me know I don't have to watch the whole video. Saved me some time.
Lower reminds me of a berretta m9a1 and upper hk p30sk....with that being said, nice piece!
I'm from Argentina.i visit.the Bersa factory.berry nice peoples greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷
Love my Firestorm. Awesome firearm.
Thank you, you helped me make a wonderful choice. It’s my every day carry.
Provided a good holster can be had, that looks a lot easier to lug around than a Beretta 92A1. It took me a while, but I've determined that, for me at least, the DA/SA action is the best for a carry gun. I would like the safety to be a decocker only to avoid possibility of engagement.
Pretty stoked on the suppressor ready model, but no videos shot with cans.
You said de-cocker only, I believe that is a de-cocker and a safety.
Like the lefty friendly design.
The thunder 380 was the first gun I ever bought. I unfortunately had to sell it which I’m still kicking myself for. I will def buy another one once I have $
Nice looking gun. I'm going to take a close look at that next time I'm at the gun shop.
I wish Bersa would remove the integrated lock and magazine disconnect safeties in all of their pistols like my BP9CC.
Another nice thing: Polygonal rifling :-) Great video, thank you sir, may you have a nice day!
Edit: Also, sights are interchangeable with Sig sights, which got lots of aftermarket options should you feel like, or need changing them.
very good video and review. very complete. really like it. i think its a decocker and safety though
by the way, I think the mag release is reversible for you south-paws.
Beautiful !
I've heard people say the thunder9's look like everything from a Sig to a Browning. But never heard anyone say the 1 gun it truly resemble's the Walther P88.
Oh yes!
Internally Bersa's are like Beretta's (one of the founders of Bersa come from Beretta) but in 80' Bersa took the aestethics from Walther.
That's why the Thunder 380 looks like a PPK and the TPR to the P88.
Greatings from Argentina!
I’ve had a gen 1 version of this and it’s been trouble free for years.
I have the Thunder cc of my edc which I love but ive been thinking of grabbing a 9mm at first I was thinking the bp9c but I am digging this TPR9c if you cant tell I'm a Bersa junkie lol
Well covered.
That's a good looking gun. I want the 45.
you can also fit the magazine from any bersa TPR, with 17 + 1
Muy bien explicado..es un arma fiel..'
I didn't get a chamber flag with my 92x. I'm a lefty too now. That is the first gun. We were planning to get one before the world went wrong and I paid too much money but I love it three magazines.
Nice! I have myself a 380 thunder and this one looks very improve. Here in Argentina is really easy to get one of this, respect the price of course.
Pretty sweet! I love those Bersa’s
I love my Thunder, will have to look at one. It kinda looks like it take on several features from cz, glock and hk...
I have a Bersa Thunder 380 and have relentlessly been trying to find the 380plus. Love the Bersa
This one appears to be a 9mm? Awesome review and would really love this Bersa too Great design.
Did not mention, if the magazine is dropped does this one also not fire?
I like this a lot!
How about a comparison of Beretta Storm compact 9mm to Bersa TPR9c?
Very beautiful. Congratulation for videos 👍👍👍
Looks like a well made gun can’t wait until you shoot it . I knew they where coming out (the eagle import guy told me that handles or region) at gun show . Said fit and finish had be upgraded to compete better in the market place.
5 years later I went to purchase from my local shop, will be in next week ...
I like it, can't wait to see it in action. MSRP?
MSRP is $465, but we are seeing them out there for around $399. Bud's has them now for $376 (plus whatever the transfer fee is at your local FFL)
