I would give ANYTHING to be able to listen to every Beatle song for the first time.
I have been lucky enough to do just that as it came out from start to finish. You only get to do it once.
That would be cool.
I love watching you hearing them for the first time!!!! Reminds me of the first time I heard them! Don't get much better!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree on one level but...songs like this, my first memory and knowledge of them is my Mom singing them to me like lullabies and even now at 35 years old when I think of them I hear them in her voice and that is magical so I wouldn't want to trade it for anything. However, the music is incredible and I wish I could have that mind-blowing first experience for the first time as an adult on some level too.
I hope he reacts to Maxwell's Silver Hammer lol
Agreed. But these songs transport me to being with my grandma in her kitchen, wouldn’t give up those sensory bookmarks for anything
Doesn't matter what Beatles song you choose, you win.
Never mention Mr. Moonlight
Truly nothing better than watching smart young people hear and appreciate these amazing, beautiful timeless songs for the first time.
It's certainly addictive viewing: We've always yearned to have these things erased from our memory so we can experience them all over again. These YT reaction videos make it possible for us to do it vicariously through the reactors. And it's a great thing.
@@nellsun2521 You guys are chumps. You totally fall for the videos of black guys being amazed by and all into “white music.” They usually seem like completely cool dudes and I’m sure they are, but they know you guys are gonna eat this stuff up. If they were actually into this kind of music they would already be listening to it. It’s not like the Beatles (and every other huge rock band) has been hidden their whole lives until now. This is an easy, low effort way to build up a UA-cam following. And I can’t blame them for doing it. But if you take these reactions at face value, I’m sorry, but you’re chumps.
@@ViaticalTree You certainly do have a point there (chump features). But how would you know if I take something at face-value or not? There are only a handful of channels which I visit more than once. If they seem... as you said, a bit fake / over-acting etc.-- then I will tend to steer well clear after one view.
@@nellsun2521 I don’t know. That’s why I said “if”. But I think it’s safe to assume their reactions are insincere or at the very least exaggerated. Some of these guys are putting out a crazy number of videos. Clearly trying to milk the chumps as much as they can before they catch on. I don’t necessarily like to be cynical, but it’s pretty obvious to me.
...and of course we know they're not already into this music. But that doesn't take away the entertainment of seeing someone's 1st reaction to something we already know. The facial expressions usually tell you what they're really thinking anyway. I'm sorry, but you're a presumptuous chump.
It is difficult to imagine a world without the Beatles, it would be such a poorer place.
Absolutely. A much sadder place for sure!
You don't have to: Just watch the movie 'Yesterday' about exactly that.
I could not agree more! I was 14 when they first appeared on Ed Sullivan, it's hard to imagine growing up without the Beatles! They contributed so much to my life. Anytime they released a new album, you didn't even have to listen to it to know it would be another great one!
@@ublej Good point. Excellent movie, I wouldn't mind seeing again.
@@ublej yes!!! I love that movie. It's great. I couldn't imagine not growing up listening to The Beatles. I was blessed to have lived a life with lots of musical diversity thanks to my family and friends.
Paul is literally describing what his deceased mother told him in a dream. The Beatle’s were in the throes of breaking up. Paul was despondent. His mother advised him to simply let things be & continue on his path....
Y'know
They were certainly in distress, but during the Let it Be/Get Back sessions I don't believe they had at all planned on breaking up. Let's not forget that Abbey Road was recorded long after this song and album too, so they still planned on continuing.
@@utub1473 Well... as they all tell it they were pretty tired of going through the obligatory motions. They obviously had chemistry & still enjoyed aspects of making music together, but it wasn’t what it was... which serves to underscore just how extraordinary they were when they could totally focus on being a band.
@@utub1473 the get back sessions were recorded long before abbey road
@@jonasrmb01 Well... yeah. That's exactly what I said lol
The Beatles are the reason most music/bands exist today.
Can you imagine fifty years ago these artists shown a light for a generation to follow. Racism, Vietnam, government violence against protest . These artists showed most of us a way to empathy. ☮️❤️
As an African-American, you should listen to the Beatles "Blackbird" since it was inspired by the civil rights movement.
Plus it's a great song.
beatles hated Segregated Audiences in america, they were ahead of their time, not only music. bless them ua-cam.com/video/8eWECN9-sY4/v-deo.html&ab_channel=TheBeatles
HazeBruv, The Beatles and just about every British Invasion group were very, VERY heavily influenced by Black Rock & Roll, Chicago Blues and Early R&B. Elmore James, John Lee Hooker, Howlin' Wolf, Bo Diddley, Sam Cooke, Little Richard and many others. Buddy Holly was also an integral factor as well. Many of the British Invasion stars admitted in interviews that if it weren't for Black Rock & Roll (and Rock & Roll in general; i.e. Jerry Lee Lewis, Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent, Fats Domino, Bill Haley, etc.) There would not have been a British Invasion. So, the British Invasion stars loved their musical heroes and there heroes loved 'em right back. A Happy and Healthy New Year to you and yours. Be safe and be well.
One of McCartney’s most beautiful and poignant compositions. Love it.
@@duff0120 They had it in their contracts with the promoters that the fans had to be mixed and not separated. They had that much power over them because they were such a huge draw at the concerts. They were also very much against oppression.
Love George Harrison's guitar solo.
The version he reacted to is Eric Clapton on the solo. The original single has George’s version.
@@michaelsweyd2999 You're talking about While My Guitar Gently Weeps, here and on the single it's George.
@@mrkite89 The let it be record was actually recorded before the Abbey Road album. It was supposed to be a live recording, they made a movie of them making it. It was put on the shelf because of in fighting. Later on the tried to get things to work and they made Abbey Road. They then broke up and the record company brought Philip Spector in the finish the Let it Be album. On The Let it Be song he had Eric Clapton do that solo. If you want to here how it was supposed to be heard find an album called Let it Be Naked. This is the way the Beatles wanted it to be heard.
@@michaelsweyd2999 According to Mark Lewisohn (Beatles historian) Other than that, I'm a guitar player with 20+ years of experience, I know Clapton and Harrison pretty well, and I can assure you that George is bending those strings! ;)
@@mrkite89 Since you are guitar player I would have to yield to your experience in listening to a player’s style. Thanks for setting me straight.
This came out when I was 13 and my dad was in Vietnam. I didn't know the back story about why Paul wrote it but his mom's message helped me get through that year. So you are right, this is a beautiful song with an inspiring message by the best band EVER! It is so great to see young people finding this music!
You've opened up one of the biggest cans that you could ever open You could go through their library a to Z and your not gonna hear anything that sounds the same by far The most influential band in the modern era of rock and roll music Influenced millions of kids even to learn how to play an instrument Great reaction incredible song there's no words to describe with The Beatles were to music God's favour young Squire continued to spread the incredible sounds of the sixties seventies and eighties to the masses Great reaction love your show and yes you bring a smile every time love seeing others hear what I probably take for granted due to hearing thousand times..
You are Sooo RIGHT ON !!!! You truely understanding the Magnitude of what John , George , Richard and Paul gifted to humankind thru their music! BRAVO to You 🙋🙋🙋🙋
The best band ever
Never a true word spoken
"Hey Jude" is a Beatles song with a similar feel.
going to have to check it out for sure.
Hey Jude is a touch more British sounding. This has a more soulful gospel sound because of Billy Preston.
Hey Jude was about John Lennon's son Julian.
@@hazebruv Try these out: Here There And Everywhere (Paul), While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Something (both George), Sexy Sadie, Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me and My Monkey (both John) I've Got A Feeling (John and Paul) Real Love, Free As A Bird...there's so many good Beatles songs to listen to :)
@@blountb1 and Helter Skelter
A real classic. Paul McCartney has always said this song came to him in a dream, after a very tense session for their self-titled album in 1968, when he was visited by the spirit of his mother (Mary who had died when Paul was 14 in 1956) and she had told him to just let it be and that things will be alright.
I just seen a video of him speaking about it. amazing.
It's also one of the only Beatle songs written specifically for someone else. It was written for Aretha Franklin & the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section as a gospelesque song. Paul gave her "first recording" option in early 1969. She thought the song wasn't that good and sat on it until December 1969, releasing it in January 1970, two months before the Beatles. Their version is much different.
@Lady Seashell Bikini Lennon and Mac cartney wrote and gave songs to many others singers or groups, Peter and Gordon , Mary Hopkins, badfinger, and to Liverpool people such as cilla black, Gerry and the pacemakers, billy j Kramer etc...
Paul's voice is so beautiful on this track.
His voice is beautiful in every track 😭
That beautiful organ is courtesy of Billy Preston who was at one time considered the 5th Beatle
@Joe Schmoe wonderful keyboardist and singer!
@@MrManfly He was also the keyboard player on "Get Back" and the only one that got special billing on a single.
6th Bealte. George Martin was the 5th Beatle.
@@yummyyum36719 you are correct about that
One of their very few outside collaborators, and the only one to get a co-credit on one of their songs ("Get Back").
You only have a few HUNDRED to go!
That was Paul McCartney on lead vocals and piano. If you like "Let it Be", you'll love a song Paul recorded on his first solo album. It was supposed to be a Beatles song but they had too many songs already for the White Album. Nevertheless, it features Paul on all instruments and it's called "Maybe I'm Amazed". It has a great message and Paul does some of his most soulful singing. Check it out!!! You will be "Amazed"!
That is my favorite Macca song of all time. It has a killer guitar solo, great drums, the interesting two key phenomenon that Macca liked to use and the whimsical quasi classical piano touches that he developed throughout the latter part of the Beatles run. It could argued that it's the perfect McCartney song. And it's about Linda.
Was feeling sorrowful came across this out of the blue i needed this message, Let it Be. Thanks for sharing. RIP Anna Mommy misses you.
God bless! Please check out It's A Beautiful Morning by The Rascals.
So very sorry for your loss, Chris. Wishing you all the strength and healing you need now and always.. There will be an answer, one day... let it be...
So Sorry about your Baby Girl. I buried a Baby Girl 24 years ago, and it's still the hardest thing I ever did. You don't get over it, but it gets better. RIP Anna, and Caitlin Rose.

You should do "In my life" one of my favorite Beatles songs. It's short but great
Great choice. Superb song.
In my life is one of my favs as well... My fav song is A day in the life but my fav album is Rubber soul. The beatles r amazing.
The White Album is my favourite. So many songs. All great except for Revolution 9. The second side of Abbey Road is akin with Mozart though.
Long and Winding Road is another nice Beatles ballad.
Macca could write em.
this might be worth a look? ua-cam.com/video/H3VeHyedL1U/v-deo.html
They had so many great ballads: Yesterday (Macca), Something (Harrison), Here, There & Everywhere (Macca), In My Life (Lennon), Girl (Lennon), so many more ...
Jeez it was timely that I stumbled into this tonight. I've heard this song a million times. It has brought tears to my eyes exactly twice. A kid played and sang it solo to his own guitar at a memorial for another well liked kid. That did it. Then there was tonight. Damn.
I keep getting reminders about just how eff'd this year has been. Social/political strife is overshadowing peoples' own struggles, including my own. The holidays keep driving it home. So, anyways, this was a perfect song for the mood and watching someone with good taste hearing it for the first time made it more potent somehow.
Oh! Darling! by The Beatles with Paul McCartney on lead vocals is killer. It is possibly his best vocal ever
So many reactors who check this song out are saying this song is exactly what they need right now. I've watched a lot of reaction videos to a lot of songs and this is the only one who gets people talking like that, all saying the same thing. Think about that... 😁❤🔥
This song has just got me through a really tough point in my life, my anxiety had been so high. This song puts me back in the present and not my anxiety filled brain.
Check out Its A Beautiful Morning by The Rascals!
Zoe , I can truly relate
Me too. 💛
@@Zebred2001 I will certainly do that. Thank you for the recommendation.
@@aviatom1 it’s so awful, there are certain situations going on in my life which unfortunately are beyond my own control (as much I would like to be in control of them so I wouldn’t get anxious) and I had to listen to it a whole lot to finally just ‘Let It Be’ and move forward because there’s nothing I can do about it.
The Beatles have been a beacon of light in my darkest days. I feel their music is a part of me. I I bet I’m not the only one.
The Beatles are a truly revolutionary band and one of my personal favorites. Great reaction man keep it up!
I can't really believe someone never heard this song!
I remember a lot Beatles coming to me as: I know this song, what, this is ALSO by Beatles?!
Paul’s mother was Mary. She had died when Paul was young.
50 years later and this song still makes me cry - but it in a happy way~ it's eternal
Georges guitar is sublime in this song , The late great Billy Preston on the organ . A Beatles classic!
“Yesterday” is the most recorded song in the history of English language music.
Pachelbel's Canon has sold more records than any other piece of music.
The song Yesterday came to Paul in a Dream. He literally jumped out of bed and ran to his piano to play it.
Stairway to heaven is most played song in rock and roll history maybe in music in general
The Beatles are LEGENDARY. Great content
Paul McCartney's mother passed away in 1956 when years later she came to him in a dream and told him _"Let it be"._ This was what inspired him to write this song. His mother's first name was Mary.
It makes me smile seeing young people discovering the Beatles
Everyone needs to have Beatles in their life!
The Beatles had incredible, timing, key changes, and orchestration of songs you could basically and recognizably play on a 2-octave keyboard. They tried innumerable changes and enhancements that only a musician can appreciate.
Still get the chills..Way ahead of there time..Yes let it be move on..Love your reactions✌💜🎧
This is the essence of the magic of music! Discover, listen and pass it on! That is the reason the Beatles will live in the hearts, ears and minds of people forever. George Harrison noted, " The Beatles will exist without us. " He was absolutely right! New fans, every year, sharing the positive outlook of a group that will always remain with us
HazeBruv Like your reaction to this song! There's a quote I use that fits the Beatles. “We shall not cease from exploration. And the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started,
and know the place for the first time." The meaning? When you have listened to all the songs they wrote, you will understand why they are immortal legends.
Literally everything from the beatles and from hendrix is amazing. Im black and grew up in Philly and I love rap and hip hop music. But the beatles and Jimi hendrix r my biggest influences for Guitar and song writing Biggie is my fav rapper tho. Wish more young blacks like us had a more down to earth open mind for music.
I hope your channel blows up, I’ve been watching your Beatles reactions and really get a kick out of how you respond to the greatest band of all time. You could put out a Beatles song every day and it would take years to cover them all. Keep up the good work.

Both Let It Be and Yesterday are about Paul's mum Mary who he lost when he was 14 . Yesterday is about her death, Let it Be about how she continued to help and comfort him even after she passed.
Yesterday has nothing to do with Mary.

My uncles favourite song, was played at his funeral. He passed away from coronavirus in March, RIP
“ Come Together” has a fantastic groove as well as “ Get Back”.

@Happy who thought he was a loaner!!
This is a great song. A lot of people misunderstand the lyrics and think Mary is the Mother of Jesus when in fact Paul was talking about a dream he had of his own mother whose name was Mary.
And she said "Let it Be."
yet he knows that this apply to all mothers including Mother of Jesus: A pillar that goes back 40 ad St James in which Paul visited and paid homage in Spain
Paul played on the ‘Mother Mary’ thing. He also put in the church sounding organ just before the solo. His own mother, Mary, died of breast cancer when he was just 14 and he and his younger brother Mike were brought up by their Dad, Jim. Paul often thought of his mum and what she had taught him growing up as you can tell by the words of this song. Interestingly, John also lost his mum, Julia, as a teenager so both boys had this emotion turmoil in common and it helped them both get through the trauma, according to Paul.
@@NZLatic sir paul had lots of Catholic friends in part helped him to inspire such a beautiful song to his biological mother with a sprinkle of virgin Mary

Yellow Submarine is my favorite song and movie!!! Brah...you gotta watch The Yellow Submarine!!! It’s trippy and fabulous.✌️😊
Let It Be is my favorite Beatles album. It and Abby Road were their last two albums before they broke up in 1970. I was 4 years old when Let It Be came out. You need to hear "The Long And Winding Road" from this album as well. You won't make it through without crying. It's my favorite song of all time.
Love the message that you took from the song..! 👍👍💯
In the late 70’s, there was a movie called “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” that took the Beatles album of the same name and made it a musical, but all covers by different bands. My favorite song from that movie is “Got to Get You Back”, covered by Earth, Wind, & Fire. It’s not often that someone covers a song, let alone a Beatles song, and makes it better!
By the way, the movie wasn’t that great, but the soundtrack is fantastic!
There you have it, from one of the greatest bands of all time!
I could listen to you listening to the Beatles all day. Stay cool!
So glad I listened to this song today! Let it Be. Please.
This was great. Just like in my youth. I had my first "slow dance" to Hey Jude, another important Beatles tune. I could barely stand afterwards, mostly due to the young lady that had been in my arms. You should give it a listen.
