Some people do not recognise pure genius. They need not feel compelled to tune in. Thank you nick for the time you give to present us with these wonderful stories. I much appreciate your time and expertise 😉👌🏾
I strongly recommend that you listen to those by the same narrator "Trickynicky Marts" - they are the best on UA-cam. Also, check out the video plays of these same stories here on UA-cam with Stephen Fry and HughLaurie - do a search for _Jeeves and Wooster_ . They perfectly capture and are the very embodiment of Wodehouse's characters.
@@Trickynickymarts Most indubitably , my dear boy .........Your Wodehouse stories never fail to give such a wonderful amount of joy and laughter in an otherwise rather dismal existence. Hello Nick! Thanks for another stellar reading. Hope all is well with you and hope you will favor us with another Jeeves and Wooster story soon. Cheers from the USA.
@@Trickynickymarts Fixing? Do you do film editing? I mean you have such a talent for performance and timing. I can't imagine you don't use that voice for your main job. But if this reading is just a hobby of yours, you are indeed talented and generous to share this gift with the rest of us. Also, myself, I had never heard these stories before, so you have exposed me to great and fun literature.
I adored Wodehouse as a child and eagerly awaited new books coming into the local library. My mother tried to forbid the reading of them as she wrongly thought of him as a traitor .~I remember being most indignant as they adored Chaplin whereas I always considered Spode as a far more effective anti-Hitlerite character-and thé intervening seventy years have not changed my mind He did not just take a swipe at an obvious deluded lunatic leader-we all have those! Ah, clearly something from the sweet menu that didn't make the Atlantic! Its suet sponge rolled out flat and then smothered in jam or the like and rolled up like a newspaper before cooking. A dish from the past for most but excellent still non the less. Best with custard and after a hard days work.

And who is this "pure genius"?
The genius in capturing, absolutely,
the characters within the srory, and more so, the imagination of the listener. Velvet, absolute velvet!😂
I have to say the author deserves some credit for creating the characters. @@rAndomlight1069

Thank you Nick. You are indeed a genius.
This is my first experience in any way of Jeeves and Wooster. And of PG Wodehouse in general. I like it.
Great! You have a lot to catch up then - don't worry about the order as it doesn't seem to matter much.
