@@Temp-z4u First 50min is all about body blows in the forwards, the BombSquad is all about knockout punches. Safe travels, Tim, and welcome back to a cold and AB-ready SA. These 2 Boks/AB tests will exceed every rugby lover's expectations. It's exciting times for Springbok rugby. No player can rest on his laurels. Mixing up the team selections and game plan has everyone talking. The blend of 'uncles' and newbies is brilliant. Hate it or love it, it makes for fast-and-furious high-risk games, stressful to watch, yet the sport's growth is becoming visible. The question would be whether coaching teams will choose to be fast adapters or non-adapters. Good luck to both teams.
It's great to see Ruan make it into the starting 15. Most people don't know this, but he wasn't in one of the top rugby schools in SA. He attended Wonderboom Hoërskool in Pretoria and made it all the way to the starting XV. Charl McLeod was is the same school. Enjoy SA, Tim and family. Stay safe and enjoy the rugby!
Thanks Dr Rassie for showing faith at Fassie, finally deserves this and I am still waiting for both the return of Lukhanyo to start and start of Williams at 9, then that backline would be really difficult to deal with 💯
Tim, great review as always, love your work! My 2 cents on the 10 slot, Pollard can slot into centre if needed and he is also a solid man under pressure for penalties and decision making in the case of a close game in the second half.
Ballzy from Rassie with a few players new to this sort of pressure…I appreciate that he’s giving some players an opportunity and I’m all for it, it’s going to Supa exciting and I’m hoping for great running rugby 🏉
Honestly, this was the kind of boldness I was expecting in Robertson's selections. Rassie with that vision. What is truly at stake this year other than pride? Nothing. What matters is when we meet again in four years in Australia and fight for that Cup once again. I think that's where Rassie's eyes are firmly set. It's going to be an intersting match for sure. I wonder what the Non-Macdonald backline will look like ...
The backline will be exactly the same and will Jordan still on the bloody wing and that's after Razor said he's a full back it's really head scratcher 😮😮
Lets go!!!! Fly safe and see you soon Tim. If nothing else this is going to be the most interest there will be paid to a rugby game in a while. I'm sure the Northern Hemisphere will be watching with extreme interest. Lets go Bokke
Tim my man, you are in for a treat this weekend. If you thought Pretoria was mad, Ellispark is just going to blow your mind. It is a mental crowd. You will be shattered come Sunday morning from the experience. And you'll love it!!! I unfortunately is a groomsman at a wedding, who gets married when the Boks play 😅
Tim youre really talking it up here, south Africa's last two victories have been against 14 men, last time we played Ireland we beat them away, last time bokke lost at home. We've won 3 out of the last 4 at ellis park. We are not favourites , but could well surprise especially with all those lock injuries and a potentially panicky back line. Cant wait
That backline is the best we have right now I feel. Pollard has lost his spark, clutch kicker, but hasn't produced much on the field otherwise. Fassi has earned his spot. Le Roux is on hid way out I feel. He's been a major part of our team for so long, but Fassi has proven himself. The lock pairing will be interesting though, but I'm confident we will still dominate the game with this set of forwards
Yes! Im impressed! The ultimate would have been Sacha at 15, Manie at 10 with Handre on the bench, but am happy the way it is. We are serious about taking our game next level. Win or lose, Im in all the way Bokke!
Oh Tim, I must tell you. Watching Boks vs ABs for a test here in SA is a real treat. You’re in for something special. Get ready for that energy at the stadium - it’s going to be epic!! Some boeries en brannas vir jou!!! And welcome back to our beautiful country!! (Please take the same precautions, as you only move around with trusted people, okay? No strangers and no climbing into Ubers alone, please?🙏) God bless and welcome back.
The thing that I also like about Tim is that he doesn't butcher our names. He obviously spends time, behind the scenes, to make sure that he gets it right and I appreciate that.
Looks like an exciting game. Expect to be on the edge of our seats. What's for certain is the AB will try and put pressure on Sasha and Fassi without a doubt. So will be interesting to see how they handle that pressure. Looking forward to it. Travel safely Tim heads up we are having a cold front moving in on Friday. Hopefully Saturday will be better. 🤞

Yes I was expecting this sort of selection from Razor also instead we get exactly the team bar Christy that foster would pick very disappointing
See you in Joburg, Tim! Flying up on Friday from Cape Town for the game! 🔥
Love your show...looking forward to having you in SA again
That backline is crazy good
Tim my man, you are in for a treat this weekend.
Cant wait
Thank you Dr Tim
That backline is the best we have right now I feel. Pollard has lost his spark, clutch kicker, but hasn't produced much on the field otherwise. Fassi has earned his spot. Le Roux is on hid way out I feel. He's been a major part of our team for so long, but Fassi has proven himself. The lock pairing will be interesting though, but I'm confident we will still dominate the game with this set of forwards
Thanks Tim. I hopeyour family enjoys SA.
Enjoy the trip, Tim.
What a team !!! So excited !! Have a great trip.
In the presser Rassie mentioned that Eben practiced on Monday and may play if he practices today.
Yes! Im impressed! The ultimate would have been Sacha at 15, Manie at 10 with Handre on the bench, but am happy the way it is. We are serious about taking our game next level. Win or lose, Im in all the way Bokke!
Oh ja welcome back home Tim and enjoy those two matches and your time here
Rassie leading the pack, again. Building his team for the next World Cup. Thanks for a great program
No strangers and no climbing into Ubers alone, please?🙏)
God bless and welcome back.
The thing that I also like about Tim is that he doesn't butcher our names. He obviously spends time, behind the scenes, to make sure that he gets it right and I appreciate that.
Ja dis groot verrassing! Rassie en Tony het n plan!
Thanks Tim! Very exciting! 🤩🙏
Have an awesome trip. Ellis Park rocks once you get into the perimeter fence. Was last there in 2018 when Siya debuted as captain against England.
Great preview, buy it's Tuesday boykie, you can't get us all fired up so early!!!
