I tend to change a lot my right hand position too, to get different tones depending on what I need - whether it's a part that needs a mellower tone, or a faster lick etc. By the way, here's a hint for tuning: playing over the fingerboard makes it easier for tuners to be able to "find" the note, thus makes tuning the bass a faster process. You'll end up seeing the tuner (like a tuning pedal for example) wobble less if you play closer to the 12th fret. I'm not sure why this happens, but my hunch is that this sends fewer and weaker overtones with the audio signal, thus having less harmonics for the tuner to worry about, thus letting it focus more on the fundamental frequency.
Hey man. I don’t play the bass but just wanted to tell you that you’re one of the dopest musicians bro! Love your music ✊🏾
Awesome! Thank you!

I think your music is amazing. You’re my favorite.
I remember when you first got that Ken Smith back at Berklee! I came in for my lesson with Matt and you were showing it off to him! Good times!
You and Jimmy Johnson are such inspirations for me…Thank you!🍻
