    As a huge fan of ancient Middle East history, it makes me so happy that Hebrew was successfully revived. The linguistical and cultural variety in the ME around 1000-500 BC was just amazing, and now a part of that has been restored.

    He has a slight accent and some of his phrasing is somewhat inarticulate. For example when he says "I like the Hebrew language very much" he begins the phrase with "very much" rather than with "I", as most native speakers would do. Another example is when he says that a lot of Hebrew words are mixed within Jewish-Tunisian Arabic he uses the Hebrew word for "mixed" in the plural masculine form even though "words" is feminine in Hebrew.

    I have studied several European languages, modern and ancient, with success. I took a year of Hebrew and did well with it. Then I tried Irish, the language of my paternal ancestors. Totally defeated me. Hebrew is much easier! Principally, I think, because Hebrew is spoken as it is written and has fewer phonemes. Irish is much more variable and the spelling is harder even than English. This, I think, has something to do with Israeli success in restoring the old tongue and the failure of the Irish to achieve mastery of theirs.

    • @tFighterPilot
      @tFighterPilot Рік тому +1

      I think the main reason is that the Irish languages is not essential. All Irish people speak English. In the 19th century there was no language uniting all Jews except Hebrew, which is why it had to be revived as a spoken language.

    • @Channel-ml4qv
      @Channel-ml4qv 2 роки тому +6

      You literally have no idea what your talking about. Most of modern Hebrew is based on the Sephardi and Mizrahi (which is a stupid term itself) accents such as the consonants, pronunciation, and the cadence with the exceptions of a few vowels. “Yiddished Hebrew” sounds nothing like this. You can literally prove this by listening to hardcore haredi jews in NY and NJ that speak Yiddish as their mother tongue when why try to speak Hebrew.

    • @Channel-ml4qv
      @Channel-ml4qv 2 роки тому +2

      And just like the first reply wrote, what you heard growing up was Arabized Hebrew since I would be willing to bet that after they were expelled from Spain and Portugal your family and teachers family probably ended up in the arab world. The real Sephardi Ladino accent would pronounce vowels like “ayin” the same way that an Ashkenazi Jew from some shtetl would.

    This video spreads false information, what this man says about Arabic is absolutely false. He says Hebrew is “of course more ancient than Arabic” and that Arabic derives from Hebrew. Arabic and Hebrrw belong to different branches of Semitic. Their relationship is not vertical, one does not come from the other. Also, modern Hebrew is nothing like ancient Hebrew. The grammar and pronunciation are very different. modern Hebrew is heavily Europeanized in every aspect, Arabic is a genuine Semitic language that has been spoken initerruptedly, not a dead-and-revived doppelganger. This video showcases Jewish chauvinist rhetoric and this man’s belittling of Arabic stems from the struggle of Arabic speaking Jews in the hostile Western environment of newly established Israel, which his parents had to go through.

    *ISAIAH* *53* *~*
    'Behold, my servant shall act wisely; he shall be high and lifted up, and shall be exalted. As many were astonished at you - his appearance was so marred, beyond human semblance, and his form beyond that of the children of mankind - so shall he sprinkle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths because of him; for that which has not been told them they see, and that which they have not heard they understand. Who has believed what he has heard from us? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, everyone, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth. By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people? And they made his grave with the wicked and with a rich man in his death, although he had done no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth. Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore i will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors'.
    Praise Yeshua...

    This is the Gospel:
    For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
    John 3:16‭-‬18 KJV
    GOD sent His only Son, JESUS CHRIST, born of a virgin, conceived by the HOLY SPIRIT, to reconcile humanity with Him. By His blood all of our sins are forgiven, and by His wounds we are healed. Jesus Christ has saved humanity (everyone that believes in Him) from eternal damnation in hell, which we all deserve because of our sins. We have all broken the 10 commandments, which is God's law.
    There are no "good" people in this world. The Bible says we have all sinned, and come short of the glory of GOD (Romans 3:23). If you think you are a “good” person then that means that you are morally excellent. I will ask you the following:
    1.) Have you ever told a lie in your whole life?
    2.) Have you ever stolen anything (even if it was small or despicable of its value) or have you ever kept something that doesn't belong to you?
    3.) Have you ever used God’s name in vain? An example of this is when you get surprised or amazed by something and say God’s name. It is in vain because you use it as an expression, not because you are addressing God in prayer or talking about Him.
    4.) Jesus Christ said that whoever looks upon a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart (Matthew 5:28), have you ever looked with lust?
    5.) The Bible says that whoever hates his brother is a murderer (1 John 3:15), have you ever hated someone?
    Now you can see how guilty you are and that you are not a “good” person; you deserve eternal punishment just like all of us.
    as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, There is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; There is none that doeth good, no, not one.
    Romans 3:10‭-‬12 KJV
    We humans cannot do anything to save ourselves from God’s wrath; we have all broken God’s law. It is not enough to apologize to God for our actions because without shedding blood there is no remission of sins (Hebrews 9:22). Even though we cannot do anything to be redeemed, with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).
    Jesus Christ lived a perfect and sinless life fulfilling God’s law perfectly. Even though He never sinned or did anything wrong, He died for us, sinners; God’s wrath and justice were satisfied completely in Him.
    But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 KJV
    Jesus Christ reconciled us with God. Your job is to do three (3) things. First, you have to ask God for forgiveness and repent for all of your sins. This means to turn away from your sinful lifestyle. You cannot claim be a christain and still live a sinful life. Second, you must accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. This means to put all of your faith and trust in His expiatory work on the cross (not to trust your own “righteousness” or “good works”). Third, you need to be born again.
    It is Written:
    Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
    John 3:3 KJV
    The phrase “born again” literally means “born from above”. It is a change in your heart made by the Holy Spirit when He transforms you into a new creation. He makes a regeneration in your heart making you a child of God.
    When He does this, you start hating sin and unrighteousness. You also start praying, reading the Bible, going to Church, loving God and living for Him alone. All of your sinful and carnal desires are extinct because you literally are transformed into a new creature.
    This is a big miracle!
    Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
    2 Corinthians 5:17
    Please, seek God while He can be found. 150,000 humans die every day and the majority of them believe that death is far from them. Do not last another single second without accepting Jesus Christ in your life. The spirit of death doesn’t ask you any permission to take your life; he just simply takes it.
    Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
    John 14:6 KJV
    Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
    Isaiah 55:6‭-‬7 KJV
    JESUS CHRIST IS COMING VERY SOON!
    God is one in being and three in person:
    FATHER, SON and HOLY SPIRIT.
    It is too perfect for us to understand. By faith we accept it. May the LORD JESUS CHRIST bless you always.

    The only way to Heaven is to be born again by saying out loud "Jesus is Lord" and believing in ur heart that God rose Him from the dead then you must live for Him i suggest getting baptized, repenting(asking for forgiveness of your sins and making a radical turn from ur sin), fasting (doesnt have to be from food), evangelizing(spreading the Gospel), praying, and reading the Bible. God and Jesus love all of you hmu with any questions have a good day God bless✝️❤️good works dont get u to Heaven God's grace does John 3:16
