Classic TBC's Phase 2 (Overlords of Outland) introduced a lot of content for players to take advantage of, but there's also a lot of things to know in advance to take full advantage of that content. From the attunement to Serpentshrine Cavern (SSC) and Tempest Keep (TK), to resistance gear, to guild banks, today we're gonna go over 8 things you should prepare for before phase 2 drops !

You can complete the SSC attunement completely independently of the TK attunement. You can complete it and be attuned for SSC before you even complete a single Trial of the Naaru quests, i did this actually

You don’t need to complete the 3 heroic trials to open up SSC attune quest in heroic slave pens. In other words, TK and SSC attunements can be done in parallel.

Blizz said that they will convert the arena points into honor by the factor 1:10 (1 AP= 10 honor). This info wasent available when this vid was created.

FYI On the PTR the Primal Nether is not purchasable for Badges from the vendor
I have 2 professions that don't use nether vortexes. Makes me feel better about leveling my alts. 🙃
Only weapons and belts need those since belts are BOE u dont have to worry about anything
sept 21st or 28 Phase 1 (16-17 weeks). Each expansion is a lil under 2 years (104 weeks) minus W.O.D. which was some lengthy exception. This applies to classic. But instead of 22 week seasons along with a few extra fillers weeks in btw at the start of the expansion and for prepatch and a 2 boss raid etc that totals to 96-100 weeks or so. Since classic has 6 phases will be divided into 16 weeks (9x16 = 96). Then u might get an extra week at the start of the expansion to hit 70 and maybe a few weeks with prepatch Lich King talents before classic lich king comes out.
Phase 1 of tbc classic is 15 weeks, the phase 2 raids come out the 15th

Odds are that with all the drama going on in Blizz, P2 will probably be delayed, but we will likely never know since we never knew the original timeline.

The problem with wow is in the title itself, all the shit you "NEED" to do makes it unfun and a job. What about all the things being enabled that allow us to do what we'd like to do?

I think, its because SCC and TK where originally open when tbc launched in 2007
tbf, grinding from 60-70 is much less than 1-60, so it makes sense to introduce phase 2 sooner than later.
phase 2 is going to come out like 3 months after tbc classic launched. really more than enough time

Blizzard should realize that most players can't afford to spend 8-10 hours everyday on the game. This comes much too fast. 🙁
It's a tough question. There are also a lot of guilds who are already decked out in current raid gear and Blizzard kinda has to keep them subscribed too, while also keeping in mind other competing game releases as well.

just get your pre bis gear and after that all your items you can
get from raiding which is maybe 2 days a week.

I think I'm inclined to agree. If you level 1-70 plus farm full prebis not including anything in pvp, it'd probably take something crazy like 400 hours. That's simply not doable in 2 months for people with other commitments.

nature and frost res gear for plate tanks are mostly crafted by blacksmith, there are some neck from jc too. Fire res gear can be bought from the badge vendor (100 badge the whole set, boots, gloves, leggs, chest.. around 200 res on these 4 items). there are also head enchants with 20 res from various reputations (shatar - arcane, lower city - shadow, keepers of time - frost, cenarion - nature, honorhol/thrallmar - fire), these head enchants needs honored rep and can boost the crafted BS head to 80 resistance i think, thats pretty op. As one of the MT fro hydross you need 365 resistance, you can get 70 from aura/totem (it does not stack with motw sadly), i think there is also a flask to give u 25 or 35 more all resistance and some smaller enchants like back enchant etc, as an OT for hydross i think you need mixed resistance gear for both nature and frost and both must be more than 200? im not sure in that last number

Yea leather nr gear is boe greens frost is naxx or boe greens, and the mix set is get as many sockets as you can and socket void spheres as a druid you can easily get a set that gives you 16 so ckets

TBC is the ultimate time waste grind designed by rapey Alex at Blizzard. He wasn't able to forklift enough of the Everquest style grinds into vanilla, but he sure was able to put a bunch of busywork into TBC.
You can avoid all this by not playing this pay to win game, run by sex offenders.
