Guy is a genius! I love any show he presents - they're much better than the shows we have here in Germany... Can't wait for him to come to Germany again so that I can meet him and have my replica helmet signed!
In my head... The exhaust needs moving, to get the motor down lower. And the forks need slipping through. 2:04 Lowering the motor would straighten the CV's, lower the CG and also reduce wheelies. (Edit) Great bit of gear though. \o/
Shorter stem on the handlebar will not give you better hand control and turning? keeping more center rotational mass? With that long stem look like you need to swing the handlebar around to turn. Just curious because I know nothing about these Ape.
Hi I absolutely love the work you put into everything you do I'd like to lend you the only 8 seater pedal bike it was made as a limo pedal bike its sat looking upset at the moment please help me put smiles back into lots of people's fasis and if not the bike I have a elefent that's inching to drive down the road
I'm not an engineer or mechanic but just thinking.... Is there a way of creating independent braking on the separate back wheels? Imagine the control then? Awesome machine though mate!
Not sure if this is going to work.. Front wheel barely touches the ground, you cant initiate a turn with the front pointing at the sun. Think it needs a little longer wheelbase, and maybe a 150cm rear axle would also be better. Perhaps some counterweight above the front wheel? I do like where this is going :)
If the motor was in front of the rear axle, as is normal, a longer wheelbase would be less of a concern. I really think if this wasn't being done for a tv show, on a tight schedule, Guy would have built a MUCH better machine. This thing is exciting, powerful, and spectacular - great for TV, but not for racing (power excepted of course).
Id expect better engineering than that from Guy. How could you possibly think a narrow rear axle will be a good idea. Theres a reason NONE of them are built that way.
@@maniac6666 fait enough! If he doesn't get gripper tires he's gonna be slower though, but he gets some, the extra grip might be too much. Idk, I'm looking forward to seeing proved wrong

Guy Martin proper you need to start making longer videos please it will make your channel go nuts with more screen time please make them 🙏
Got 'hospital' written all over it. Brilliant line - but I hope not. Guy's seen enough of them.

That looks a bit of a handful.
Absolutely brilliant, but I think it needed an L-twin just because!
Legend 🇬🇧👍🏻

Which engine is used in this monster piaggio
I’m all hope for this but nothing ends well with a stock front end 😬😬
Lol that's some rear camber.
Love it! 🇨🇦
Looks like a Gordon Murray t25 😊
Running on a slick grass surface isn't a good indicator of what it'll do with some traction.
Guy is a inspiration to man woman and beast what a man...give this man a knighthood...sir Guy?
Guy's built the Aculeus Ape.
Aculeus, Latin for stinger.

Definitely need a bigger front wheel on suspension
Wonder if it's road legal ? 🤪
Mon rêve est de aller voir le tt en personne
In Australia we say, if it’s not broken don’t fix it.
Suspension needs adjustment.
Should be able to go from stif to loose.
Not sure if this is going to work..

Funny.thing is it's.the front wheel that does him in at the end lol
What a rubbish opinion you got there
Not standing on the shoulders of Giants.
Wonder why they made them that wide…? Time will show
is he gonna make a racing Reliant?
Who has noticed the tiles on the roof at beginning of video ?????
Good spot, maybe you have alternative perception? 😉

@@robbanks50 Hi Rob 😂😂😂 👍👍👍👍
Didnt I watch this a week ago????
I swear that if that race was run on a smooth tarmac/asphalt track this would've won
U need a wider tire on front wheel
All it needs is better tires, of course it doesn't try to tip over if you're testing it on wet grass with car tires
Ape builds are build to race on loose ground and grass, and not on asphalt.
So it makes sense to test it on the grass tho...

Legend 🤣
Wolverine doesn't look as buff as he used to.
WTF is going on with that wonky bar on the front, it's 6 inches lower on one side!
All I'm gonna say is this - there is a reason race car versions of regular cars are widened....
Finally!
Bonjour Guy 🙏Mais il va être moins stable comme ça, non?!?! 😶😸🇨🇵..... 👍🧿💙
👍👍
Make me laugh bish bash bob ready to go!
Can he go back in F1 Haas needs him so much
