This video truly hits home a year and a half ago, I wish I had this wisdom. I navigated through Hell, emerged stronger, and became a more aware man. After 9 years of marriage and 4 kids, I almost lost it all. It took pulling myself out of the fog and fighting for my life and marriage. Men, it’s time to execute your aspirations - your wife believes in you. Your kids want to see you lead and do great things. Thanks, Pat, for your impactful work. Wishing you, your family, and team a blessed New Year!

( Isaiah 5:20 ) ➜ Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
( Proverbs 17:15 ) ➜ He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous are both alike an abomination to the Lord
( Exodus 22:2 ) ➜ If a thief is found breaking in and is struck so that he dies, there shall be no bloodguilt for him
( Psalm 11:5 ) ➜ The Lord tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.

Dearest Patrick, of all your many talents, skills, accomplishments, and abilities, the thing I respect and admire about you the most is, the love and reverence you have for your family. The wisdom and sensitivity you acted upon in realizing the deep value of having the youngest member of your family, spend as much time as possible with the oldest member of your family, literally bought me, to tears. That for me is a demonstration of what a great son, husband father, and fellow human being should aspire to immulate. ❤❤😊

You know it's different to love when a man makes a man, but if I'm the only one to love, I don't have to do the most inspired love is the man who has a stand and I don't want a man who needs to invest before I can be loved? This is not what suits my heart if love is solid, the relationship does not include money matter and I don't want to insult myself and I am not in a hurry.

Every day is a blessing from births to death. I have 2 sons, 20 and 23, and I love and respect them as they do us! Married 31 years gone thru hell and back and still love and honor each. Out life is not driven by money but love and respect. My parents were married 62 yrs when mom died, now dad (89) is living in a small home on back property. He worked his ass off and raised 5 good children. We're blessed to have each other.

That's what I am aiming at, fulfilling what my calling is for this generation. 'Leaving this earth somewhat better than I found it' and enjoying the ride while it lasts. 😅.

OMG at my age at almost 80 years young I admire and pay close attention to what the young have to say and do. On a human level I admire Mr. Patrick Bet-David. A lot of wisdom coming from this man and the wisdom is deep with love in opinion. I am now in this life at this time as an older person just an observer but still keen to lear. Like most of us the young are learning during this time of their life like most of us do. For me they are growing up in a time that I did not and therefore their thoughts and their desires will be different than mine. If I can share anything in my world and what I have learnt as an older person it is to be the observer of all people and to never stop learning and use that learning in life to make the world a better place. Is it not true if we judge another than we judge ourselves. In my opinion to stop learning and not having an open mind is to die. I plan to be around for a very long time.

I loved and admired my dad, he commanded respect, hard worker, worked till he was 82 and went blind. I lost him, it'll be a year the 30th of this month. Years ago I had a counselor say something that stuck with me. He said do you wanna be that sob when you die they say good riddance to and can't wait to put you in the grave, or do you wanna be the person that they're clinging on to the casket and don't wanna let you go.

Still there are what I call the constant reminders, like when I go to the grocery store and see the things he used to have me get. I was blessed though, I got to be with him everyday till the end.

I needed to hear this. I’ve been trying to get a promotion at work for years, had multiple interviews, and have another one in 2 days. I keep talking about my past accomplishments - which I’ve received many kudos from upper management- but it’s not parlaying into a promotion. So I’m going to work on my mindset and think about the value I can bring the table today as opposed to what I have done these past 4 years.

    • @RitaBaroody
      @RitaBaroody 8 місяців тому +2

Your comment really stood out to me as I am a Career Success Coach and Talent Strategist.
If the company values you, then this could work really well:
“I have been approached by other companies regarding a higher leadership level opportunity, yet I remain committed to my team and continuing to add value for years to come.”
      Then state:
“As a kind refresher, here are my major accomplishments that have positively impacted the team in the past few years
      AND
This is my plan for the next 1-3 years if I continue to grow here…
Then ask - receiving a promotion and continuing to grow is super important to me, when can I expect a promotion?”
If there’s push back or hesitation on their end…then it could be time to move on and add value elsewhere where you are also more valued as an individual.

Be a good person, be honorable and never cheat anyone, all that, but for a larger percentage of people out there than most want to admit, if they don't fear that you'll be able to do something to them, they won't respect you and will take advantage.

Love or admired? With all due respect, it doesn't matter what others think. We shouldn't care. We should care ONLY what the good God thinks of us.
If people truly care about how others perceive you, you are focused on the wrong thing.
Give love to all, as Christ did for all of humanity, and don't care about this world.
Peace be with you, David. ✝️

I literally do admire my kids. I raised the kids others respect.
My 19 year old. Star football/ basketball player in our small town. When he started football we had no tv stations. He had never seen a football game and didn’t own a football. He lettered all 4 years of high school. And while that is cool and everything what I RESPECT is my son reached his hand out for EVERY underdog along the way. Not just his hand but he has stopped fights to protect. MORE than all of that, my kids financially carry themselves. He dabbled in day trading at 15 with money he earned working. He built that to pay for his first car, 1 year car insurance AND bought a friend (who I didn’t even KNOw) a car because his parents couldn’t help him at 16. My son took him food from our house for YEARS! At 19 that boy lives w us and my kids EXPECT him to be treated as an equal to them even knowing that lowers what they get.
This is the 2nd chosen son in our family. My ex husband and I raised an extra who is literally listed in my will as an equal per my biological children’s permission and expectations! I am waiting the day they ask the 2nd to be added.
My 16 year old daughter out moms me daily 😂 while working 20 hours a week and school. I just got back from a weekend trip to her having bought a new bathroom rug set and 4 towels for the bathroom she uses?? What 16 year old does that?? She has had an IRA since she was 14. And she speared organizing a collection at work to bless a co worker (teen) whose only parent is dying of cancer. She is treasurer of two clubs and class president. It may not seem like a big deal to you but I didn’t have a single friend in school. So how she did this 🤷🏼‍♀️
My youngest (14)looks up to his brother and he will argue the defense of every kid that has brokenness in their life. He protects. In 2020 he found out 1 of his friends for years, who is a foster kid since 6 had never had a birthday party. My son put on the biggest 13th party for him our little town could do in a world shutdown situation. Further he is pissed at me because I don’t plan to take the newest chosen child on a boat floating over to the Bahamas MOSTLY because we are at and perhaps already over max capacity. He says “how do you think that will make him feel to me?!?!” 😂 I am ready to give up my seat to keep the respect of my 14 year old who adamantly defends his big brothers buddy.
And yes my oldest did surprise the newest chosen son w a flight along w him to FL this past summer. We met him there via car to check him into the hotel. Though we didn’t stay. The boy had never flown and had used my dress bag as a suitcase 😅 God bless him. He had never seen a hotel on the beach in his life.
At this point I am hustling to stay ahead of the good my kids do.
And Patrick my oldest (and I) has been watching you for years. We often converse about your topics. Thank you for helping me raise them. ❤
There are so many who don’t have access to the mindset you bring to the table. What you do matters!!

OH My F*** ...... (not going 2say it) WOW, I watched this video 4 times. Im a 39 year old South Florida Native. You hit home on ALL 8 Cylinders! This is one of the most VALUABLE UA-cam channels out there. YOU are a leader my Man... We need to have people like you, with your knowledge & s😊marts but this Country will do everything to keep people like you (US) from being the President or powerful Governer, Mayor of this Country. Its a dam shame... Love you'all 'Happy new year '

Thank you for challenging me today. Unfortunately today, people just want to have "safe-spaces" of which I believe is weakening us. If people were challenged more often, they would be forced to adapt, and as a result, would became a better version of themselves.

Great message, but most importantly a message that is so needed in this point in time and frequently forgotten by even many of those who want to be admired! In last couple of videos I watched, it feels to me that PBD has shifted gears again and now the sky's the limit. Grateful to have this access to your way of life (from family relations through business, to life's philosophy) and be inspired on all levels of life!
