Perfect time for this video. I've heard the expression "take what the market gives you" but never thought of it as "be prepared to take what the market gives you". I have a good rule that kept me out of a trade yesterday; The rule's saved me money (don't jump into a stock that's shot up 15% above yesterday's close on the open) but it kept me out of a big winner. I was aggravated at first, but after this video I realized it was a teaching moment, a chance for me to change my rule, just a little, so maybe next time I'll find a way to get into an "AMRS" while controlling my risk. Thanks for all your videos/blogs/such.
Awesome info! That is exactly what Im training my mind to do. Im trying to indentify whether the ES futures will trend or reverse at the beginning of my trading session or looking for ranges or pattern formations to enter a position. My goal is to one day be able to enter early on a trend day and hold for the big move! I'll keep working on it. Thanks for the mental coaching Dr S! It really helps to have a professional to help us verify whether we are thinking on the right track or not!
I have always been a good listener, observing things around me. But I struggle with markets. U r video gave a very different view of being a good listner to the markets. Will try it out. Thank You.
appreciate your wise insights as always! Letting your optimal trades come to you to build consistency is definitely key. As I become a better trader, I'm using less extra information/indicators and zoning in on what I'm good at (hourly/daily swings). And learning how to say No to what doesn't match who I am. Definitely a hard process to go through but it's worth it for anyone else trying to improve :)
Thank you very much for your bright intelligence,, and that seems hereditary, Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, and that seems learnt with your parents or throughout your life
Hello sir I want to discuss a problem I am facing in trading. And to see is it normal This is happening to me I am trading good for a particular period of time like every trade is going good, I am able to read the tape But after this period , I am not able to focus , not able to read the tape, feeling like I have not learned tape reading skills and i dont know anything about the level 2 and time & sales. After frustrating on this factor for some days, one day I am back and started doing very good trading This cycle has been repeated with me few times
