In this day and age, it's a wonder you can get any luxury watch for under £1,000; the fact that you can buy one this good for less than half of that is nothing short of amazing. It currently sells in the UK for £480.00, but if you buy in the sales you can get it for even less than that - mine was just £384.00 (quartz with black dial, January 2017).
Longines got everything right with this model: big and bold, beautifully made, superlatively readable, and at a very, very fair price, it is arguably the best value luxury man's watch on the market. And with that name on it, it's a no-brainer. Just one caveat: if you don't work out, this might not be the watch for you - the bracelet alone weighs over a quarter of a pound!
Bottom line: don't mess about - just get one! You won't regret it.
