- Trip of a Lifetime into Scotlands Last Wilderness - spectacular 3 day wild camping adventure in Knoydart
An amazing trip into the remote Knoydart region of the Scottish Highlands. Three days and two nights covering approximately 20 miles and 9000ft of ascent over very rugged terrain with 20kg rucksacks. Four Munros were bagged on this trip. At the time it was probably the toughest trip I’ve ever done.
Many thanks for watching - Dave

Just wonderful, really enjoyed watching that 😊
What a fantastic adventure! 👌
That definitely looked a tough 1 but stunning so a Munro bagger as well as a wainright bagger 😂
No. No bagger me 🤣
Fantastic Dave. Absolutely beautiful drone scenery shots. Your vlogs just get better and better. Evgenia is brilliant, very much looking forward to seeing more from her channel.
Big thanks Janice 🙏🏻
Your Video Shots scenery stunning awesome views.
Stunning place
Sgurr na Ciche was the munro that escaped me, the trig point is shattered due to numerous lighting strikes! Wilderness maybe 50 yrs ago, not now, a boat ride or tramp from Arkaig.
Stunning. You both make a lovely adventure couple and look so cute together.
Battaries, carry in the sleeping bag. Or in a down mitt for easier acess out of the pack
Great video dave probably your best one yet 😊 out of curiosity having never seen your lady friend are you a couple.
Absolutely amazing video - loved it - you look so happy
Awesome, possibly your greatest video ever.

Big thanks as always Olan. The harder the better 🏴💪👊. Yeah, we make a great team 👍. ATB
For anyone inexperienced and watching this for inspiration/advice - the most important transition is 18:35 - the weather can change in minutes and if dont have the gear, you’re done. Great video.
Absolutely Benjamin👍. Especially out there. It’s a long way from help. ATB
Cracking video, stunning scenery
Amazing scenery and the memory of my footsteps over 40 years ago, your videos are they only way I could reach these fabulous elevations these days 🚶♂🚶♂❤❤
Really appreciate that David. Thank you and very best wishes 🙏🏻
Brilliant, brings back memories, did these Munros with a walk in from the Quioch dam, camp on Sgurr Mor, we t down to Sourlies bothy from Ciche and walk out via Lochan Nam Breach. Superb area for multi day backpackpacking

Amazing footage, lovely video mate. Love Evgenia’s voice! Great to see you having such a great time 👍
Cheers bud. Glad you enjoyed it. ATB 🙏🏻
One of your best ever, stunningly beautiful. Minor point, you mention about three or four times you had 't seen anyone, but, 6 minutes into your video, someone walked right past you!
❤
Haha. That was Evgenia. She was wearing shorts at that point but changed to trousers soon after. Glad you enjoyed it. Big thanks and ATB 🙏🏻
Just Epic Darren Dave
That’s one of our favourite routes too. You done well to get that far on day one. Good effort! The road into your start points almost as hard going as the hills lol. 😊
Aye that road is a real rollercoaster 🎢 Was an amazing trip tho. ATB 🏴🏔️⛺️😎👍
Good to see you back out there with a vengeance Dave - wondered why you bought that great big heavy Allak 2!
Thanks MO 😎👍. I got the Allak for more space on the long solo winter nights. It’s a great tent for 2 also.
Hi Dave, been seeing your pics/stories on Instagram so have been looking forward to seeing a Scotland video. Wow mate what an epic camp this was! Some serious effort lugging all that winter gear 14miles, don’t know who you actually do it. Absolutely blessed with no wind on top of a mountain up in Scotland Haha. Quality video mate.
⛰️🏕️🎥
Cheers Rick. 14 miles was just the first day. Another 10 on day 2. An amazing trip indeed 🙏🏻
Yes yes dave and evgenia! I know exactly you feel 14:41 ... heavy packs with long distances AND ascent ... tests body and mind ... cracking vlog as per mate 👍 hope you are well 🙏
Big thanks Bob. Glad you enjoyed it 😎👍
Great video, just came out of glencoe from a few days. Any chance you are ex serving mate?

Fantastic video Dave - what an epic trip you both had 👍 really enjoyed this one - one of my first ever summit camps was up there on the middle one (many moons ago) didn’t have those conditions tho and definitely didn’t add on Sgurr Mor !! Well done both an epic undertaking !
Big thanks Murray 🙏🏻. So glad you enjoyed it, means a lot. You even got a mention in Evgenia’s video “did you hear that” 😁👍 ATB 🙏🏻
A pure dose of Mother natures' heroin! Hope you have signed up for the rehab course!!

You still looked like you were taking it in your stride zombie nation mate
That tune came into my head straight away 😅😊 take care man living your dream
Big thanks Trev 😎👍
Awesome: loved it!!!
A majestic watch that. Video of a lifetime maybe. Well done mate.
🙏🏻
This has to be your finest video so far David.
When I watched your "Throne of the Gods" one, I thought he'll never surpass this, it's excellent, but somehow you've managed it.
Absolutely superb. Magnificent.
Really appreciate that Frederick. Glad you enjoyed and very best wishes 🙏🏻
One of your best, and that's saying a lot. Thank you.
Big thanks David 🙏🏻
Incredible - a trip to remember for a lifetime that. Well done fella.
🙏🏻
What a video mate.
Absolutely Unbelievable, 🤩👍👍
Big thanks Liam 😎👍
There is strange music playing at 9.47 when you are both walking up that watercourse.
Yeah. Evgenia had music playing on her phone.
@@TheSoloSummiteer I'm a bit disappointed it was that. I've been in isolated places before and heard odd music. I thought it was nature spirits singing.
Happy!!! 👍👍👍
Absolutely fantastic solo (duo) summiteer stuff :) and it's only up the road from you by car 🚗 M ☘️ maybe get the 🚢 or ✈️ to 🇮🇪 someday
Maybe we’ll get over there at some point Merky 😎 🇮🇪 🏔️⛺️ 👍
@The Solo Summiteer never say never lol you'll get solitude for sure, well, kinda
you're as fit as a fiddle man doing that
Cheers Paul 👍
Excellent trip Dave , proper wilderness up there indeed . Hope your all good ⛺️👍
Cheers bud. ATB 👍

Nope 🤣
Fantastic Dave!!
Nice one Dave. More of that gal in yer vids. She’s a great companion. Watch she doesn’t leave you in her tyre smoke🤣
Aye. We’ll see 😁
@@TheSoloSummiteer what I meant by tyre smoke was the energy she’s got. There’s a lot of Munros!
That was fantastic dave veiws magnificent brought back good memories. Seems a nice wee lady you're hiking with cheers will

Brilliant trip Dave. You looked like you had a ball 👍🏻.
fantastic journey. great that you got to share these moments with a friend. if you had gone alone, you would have been so tired that you would have flaked out, rather than reflect on the majestic vista. living life, loving life, loving company. thanks for sharing this beautiful adventure.
Cheers Gary. Was a very special trip 🙏🏻
Hi Dave, I'm so glad you managed to get up to Knoydart, it's such a beautiful area & the views from the mountain tops are magnificent, it's my favourite place..keep up the good work pal
What a epic trip Dave, that scenery is just mind blowing, or though knackering keep up the good work on the channels.
Great vid mate! Love your new “guide” 😉👌👏
Awesome views & drone footage Dave. Great to see you sharing your adventure with a friend! Not seeing anyone else for 3 days must of been awesome in this rat race we all live in. You where also blessed with brilliant weather which gave you the opportunity to enjoy the scenery and share it with us, that can only dream. TY
Ps. Dave my nick name is used on UA-cam , different on facebook 😂
Excellent Dave . . . Worth waiting for.
Nice one Dave, some of the best hill's in the UK.... I've done them a few times, the last time I headed over the col down Glen Kingie up Gairich and from there headed along along anticlockwise doing 5 Munro's and a Corbett, these are tough hill's so well done you. ATP Jim
Really appreciate that Jim especially from someone who familiar with the area and how tough it is 😎👍. ATB 🙏🏻
@@TheSoloSummiteer yeah Dave it's tough ... and that's with a day pack... again well done you carrying all that gear. 💪👌👍
Brilliant film Dave. Really captured the solitude of NW Scotland
Hi Dave,
I've had to spread watching this over the last 3 nights, been on shifts .
Once again throughly enjoyable in a spectacular part of the British Isles.
I don't know how you manage carrying the Allak2 up those hills and mountains, very luxurious but a bit heavy M8.
Well done to both of you.
😊👊👍
Cheers Michael. It’s worth the effort. Not really a problem for me. I love it ⛺️😎👍
In Tebay Truckstop for the night, just watched your latest flick…. Superb Dave, that’s a memory that will stay with you forever…
🙏🏻
Much enjoyed as always Dave and brought back loads of memories of my recent 3 day hike in the area. Knoydart is special.
Need to get myself back in to the Highlands, been hankering it for years now! Makes the lakes look like s#@t! Stunning footage as well! You look so happy 😊
🙏🏻
Excellent stuff Dave!. You and Evgenia looked like you had a complete blast! Loved the early footage of the stags walking across the Glen with the snow capped mountain in the background. Drone footage shows what a remote place Knoydart is. You’ll soon be back up there, Scotland has a habit of drawing you back again. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻⛰️🥾
We had an amazing time David. We’ve been back again since. ATB 🙏🏻
Lost count of how many times you said 'keep going' and you did!! And filmed!! Fantastic. Massive respect, well done.
🙏🏻

Cheers Steve. It was nearly 6pm when we finally got back to Fort William. Knackered but very happy 😃
Sensational Dave. Start to finish! Huge congratulations 🎉

That looked an incredible trip and camp Dave. Memorable.
Great drone footage and love that music as well..Even though you were exploring a completely new area, you just seemed to go with the flow and take it all in. You are unflappable.
This is somewhere I'll probably never get to..so thanks to you and Evgenia for sharing.
Take it easy mate👍
Really appreciate that Simon. Glad you enjoyed it and ATB 🙏🏻

Backpacked this ridge back in 2015 as part of the TGO challenge! Started the day from Soulies beside Loch Nevis and finished beside Lochan nan Sgud in Glen Kingie. Added Sgurr Mor, Sgurr a Fhuran and Gairich...made for a long but fantastic day.
Looks like you had a great time.... puts the lakes in they're place..and I'm a Westmorland lad born and bred!
TFS, cheers Alistair 👍
Nice one Alastair. Totally agree. I’ve always said the Lake District is just a warm up for Scotland 🏴🏔️💪👊
What an adventure!!!! Cheers for sharing Dave 🙏
