You are one of the most talented, smart, funny, creative and beautiful artists I’ve had the luck of learning from. You make it so easy to follow and with only a couple steps! I love that cane btw. Actually all 3 of the remakes. Everything you touch turns to clay gold! ❤
Love the pin. I'm going to try one tonight... And that super glue hack is the best thing I've learned this year!.... Second to everything you teach us, Donna. ❤
Thank you Donna for another great tutorial, I will try this out soon with my own canes, I particularly love the little gaps at the side, lovely design as usual ❤😊
Donna you are the best! All of your tutorials are jammed with super-helpful hints and tips for making the perfect polymer clay piece and I love your 'high quality' approach. I have been working with polymer clay sine 2019; i'm currently on a bit of a hiatus (mixed media and watercolour called to me 🤭 so I am only dabbling with clay at the moment) but of all the polymer clay tutors I have followed yours are the videos I still watch when they pop up in notifications and yours are the pieces I make. All of your work is so accomplished and professional and I learn so much from you - your vast experience shines through . Your presentation style is fabulous and you always make me smile - I am so glad that you decided to start your channel - thank-you so much!!
Thank you so much, Joe Joe! I really appreciate your kind words. I'm trying watercolor at night, it relaxes me although it's hard! Maybe one day....Hugs, D
@@DonnaKatoArt Yes, watercolour is certainly a steep learning curve!! But you can get such beautiful, unique results and it's so much fun (particularly buying all the supplies!!! 🖌☺) xxx
Donna, your talent blows me away! I am new to clay and your tutorials are so easy to follow and learn from. I inspire to be a Donna when I grow up 🤩 I am 65 and lost my husband of 47 years and looking for something to feel my long, lonely days. Wish I could afford your patron group but, truly love that I have your UA-cam channel ❤️ Oh, by the way I love when you hum!!
thank you, Avonda, I am so sorry to hear of your loss, it must be so hard after 47 years together. Having hobbies, keeping busy has to help. So glad you're watching and learning. It's my pleasure. Hugs, D
Delighted to be here, Donna. Love watching you work while I play with shaving my own pretty mokume game block. Feeling a nice bit of connection with my "tribe"!😊
@@DonnaKatoArt I’m so weird about symmetry and with the black there it was symmetrical. It bugged me sooo bad without it though. 😂😂😂 my brain can’t help it, idk what’s wrong with me!!! 😂😂
@@DonnaKatoArt I’m the opposite, I used to love abstract and asymmetric everything years ago but the older I get the more that evolves. I am fascinated by how you make those patterns though,…. My eyes watch you do them over and over but my hands just can’t figure it out. 😂🙃

This is lovely Donna. I am watching through for the second time and I hope to make one this afternoon. Thanks!

So glad you're here, Eileen! Have fun with that mokume gane! Cheers, D
Thank you for this tutorial Donna once again, it’s fantastic!
Superbe !!! 😍
Oh. My. Word!👏🏾👏🏾😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥
Thank you I love your classes, you make it so easy to follow along and you do such a great job of showing us great techniques to explore with. ❤😊❤
my pleasure! Hugs, D
Maybe you could use a n emery board for those tight angles sanding. Beautiful work 👏🎉👏
that, would work!
Such an elegant and unusual shape!
Thank you, Donna ❤ going to put this to good use ❤
There you go, Bev! I seek ways to use what we have! Hugs, D
Donna, where can I find what you are using to sand with?
Avonda, Amazon sells Abranet sanding papers. They really are good and they last a long time. Hugs, D
That is beautiful! Sorry about that message that posted on this video it must have jumped to your video as I was posting it the other creator.
No problem, kid. I just think your message of concern would be so much appreciated Had to let you know. Good luck! Hugs, D
@@DonnaKatoArt thank you.💖
Donna, do you seal the paint with something after it’s dried? If not, won’t the paint wear off?
Hi Tina; Acrylic paint is tough, kid, no need to seal. Oil paint seems to penetrate into the clay and it's not going anywhere, either! Cheers, D
@@DonnaKatoArt thank you so much. I’ve learnt something new.
Hola Donna!! Me gustaría saber como hacerme miembro del canal, por error se ha dado de baja y ahora no puedo acceder!! Ayuda por favor!! Gracias
23:04 I loved that until you cut the black off.
Lol! ❤️

@@offairheadi understand that - I am much the same, actually. The older I get, the more I like mismatched, irregular design! Hugs, D❤️
