I just recently found your channel & there were so many great points, but the two biggest takeaways for me were mindset and “just press record!” I’ve been in a quagmire for several months with information overload over what the heck to do. Pace really nailed it talking about being raised to avoid the spotlight! And then after spending 30 years in a field that reinforced that mentality & now, at 51, I have to make a complete pivot. Unfortunately so much of the content out there seems to be geared to people in their 20s & 30s. I was really feeling like I missed the boat. After living so long with the “employee mindset”, making the switch to entrepreneur seems so darn daunting! But as they say, the journey of a thousand miles begins with just hitting record! Love & thanks you all!

Just listened to this on the Apple podcast 👌🏽 Crazy the opportunities that can come from having a channel. Like me, even though my channel is “small” I use it to get clients for my coaching and courses. I made $4k the last 3 days from leads that came straight from UA-cam

My Grandmaster used to tell a story about teaching a married couple that were beginners in Shou' Shu'. One day he had an emergency and had to have a jr instructor take over for him. The next week they asked him if they could have the jr instructor teach them permanently. At first he was upset. He had 50 years more experience. A Grandmaster. Highest ranking in the system. But they wanted this jr instructor instead. But then he realized that the jr was much closer and could relate to them better. This realization changed everything for him. The path and flashlight story reminded me of this

I’m a bit of perfectionist, and my solution to this to get more creative (because I lost it at some point..)
was actually to now hire an editor before I earn money with UA-cam so more of the real me comes out because I would just edit it all out. Every um, eh, pause, studder. Very big thanks 🙏 seeing it as an investment into my UA-cam business

Thanks for this really interesting episode and all of what you're doing. I would just add that there are some areas where you actually shouldn't be giving advice unless you really know what you're talking about. My area of expertise is dog training and behaviour and there have been numerous occasions when I've seen someone gives advice thinking that they are being helpful, but they actually 'don't know what they don't know' and because of their lack of depth of understanding and experience they have actually made things a lot worse... even though what they said superficially sounded logical, and they were trying to be helpful.

So I appealed, and asked for explanation what part I'd the video violate the guidelines. But it's rejected and I received vague and general answer. And the UA-cam support don't have the authority to say more then the template I received to my email. Also they say and I quote: Our internal policies prohibit us from sharing these specifics to avoid partners from going around our policies..
