In today's episode of Minecraft, but its, with Avomance, I am bringing you Episode 7 of the RaftBlock Minecraft 100 days Challenge. Will I survive to the end of this 100 days challenge, or even the end of the episode?
In this episode, I need to build a Minecraft Bas, create a Minecraft MobFarm and start the process of getting some villagers so I can set up a breeder and a trading hall
Its a tall order, but we make a LOT of progress today!!

This is not a speed run / speed runner of Minecraft against a killer / assassin and its not me and my good friends playing the NEW FUNNIEST MINECRAFT MOD EVER!!! POG CHAMP!!!

Youve put 3 rows of trapdoors between the platforms and thus gave the opportunity for mobs to move from one platform to another, regardles the fact that they're open.Especially the spiders. Remove the central row of trapdoors and the mobs will fall with ease. Also, try movilg up in the sky, as peviously suggested, 128 blocks away from the bottom underneath the raft, to force some mobs to despwn.
Those slabs on top lets in light unless they're on a solid block.
I use that as a trick to light up rooms, stairs and walkways. Hide a light source behind them.
I'm a 62-M and started playing this game (bedrock edition) almost a decade ago with my two sons.
I enjoy watching the various people that play their games and show tips & tricks. Of all of them, I have watched and enjoyed yours the most.
Today (12/30/2023), I learned about jumping off a tall object in a boat to survive. I'll have to keep that in mind.
Please keep up the 100 days on the ocean. I enjoy it.

If the drop is only 22 blocks, when you stand on the killing spot, you're within the 28 block spawn proof range of a player so nothing is spawning right above you.
On the Wiki they say mobs don't spawn within 24 blocks from the player, not 28.
I'm not sure if we need to add 2 blocks for the player's height, but that would still add up to 26.
Then again, there's no actual harm in lowering it by 2 extra blocks just to be safe.
But yeah, lowering the AFK platform by a few blocks should do the trick.
If it doesn't, it means there's a HUGE cave network right below the raft, and all the hostile mobs spawned in there. Going 128+ blocks away and coming back should let most of them despawn.
If that doesn't work either, it means some mobs in those underground caves died on their own, others grabbed these mob's drops, and won't despawn on their own. Only way to get rid of them is to go hunt for them and spawn-proof the heck out of those tunnels.
Or re-build the farm higher in the sky, so they are out of 128-block range from player.
@@neetscholar4149 Besides lowering the kill platform a block or two to make sure, of spawning inside the farm a single column with a ladder extending to 191 (minus the distance between the bottom of the raft and the ground below) would despawn everything below the farm and then you can come back down to the kill platform and should have better spawns.
As xp is not that important just make the mob farm a passive one with a larva blade and just get the drops . You can also remove the trap doors from the middle of the water ways in the farm maybe some mobs are walking on them .
@@DAZ3OO I agree that the trapdoors in the middle might be a problem, although a smaller one at this point.
But I"m not sure the best solution is to remove them completely. Maybe you are right, but maybe replacing them so all the opened trapdoors are on the same side, like one long plank, might be better. Guess the best would be to try both.
I just had a thought Avo.... What if you had a Barrel Streamloot card for your AvoCore Adventures on Twitch? Giving you random low key items like the barrels in here? I think that can be fun.

You could collect the lava from the mineshaft and make a cobble generator? That would you save you time going up and down to mine..

Maybe your mob spawner is not working so well because there are tons of empty caves down below that are dark, and mobs are spawning down in the caves?
im wondering if all the trap door in the center are flipped. could also replace the edge block of the drop chute for stairs
Tried playing this, went to the nether and when I came back there were so many barrels and other items that the pag all but killed the game. I had 3 double chests of barrels!
The raftblock, is that for java? and is there a way to make it not hardcore?
