Will you be doing an update since the 5 suspect was finally arrested and charged. His name was floating around but he wasn’t charged until just now. And we need to applaud and hopefully financially help the minor daughter who gave LE all the information and puzzle pieces to make these arrests and have a solid case. I worry about her safety as well as being able to survive within that family when she rolled on her own mother and others who are involved in a criminal organization it sounds. If there isn’t a Go Fund Me for this young girl, I hope the community will start one for her, as well as put pressure on LE to insure her safety and make sure wherever she is placed is somewhere safe with people not in support of these individuals who are capable of such horrific, malicious crimes.
My ex-husband was very abusive towards me and we always had a very volatile relationship and it was a very, very bad divorce. When we had to do our custody exchange of our two daughters, I put in our paperwork that it had to be done at the sheriffs department, every single time that we did our exchange. My ex hated it, but I didn’t care because it made me feel safer! I wish more people would do this!
NOTE - A Fifth arrest has been made in this case. During this episode I referred to Paul Grice was arrested and charged on 4-24-24, after this podcast was recorded and aired.
The fact that the grandmother threatened to kill if she didn’t get custody (in front of the judge) makes me extremely angry. Again, the Family court system needs an overhaul!
I always think when cases like this happen, it shows that the perpetrators don’t really love the children involved as people, but as objects to be owned. If they loved them as children they wouldn’t cause them that kind of trauma.
You are applying rational logical behavior to someone who is ruled but hate. I would have used all my resources and contacts to help the mother of my grandchildren… she was a baby herself when she started having kids but I bet she comes from nothing and this woman has achieved a level of financial success. But also… there’s a 27 page report that is sealed because he was a minor… about the moms 13- year old brother being the Josh Duggar type to not just these kids. I heard an early interview by the grandmother’s attorney
Divorce and custody can be absolutely horrible. I am so thankful that when it came to custody of me when I was 2yrs old, my mother simply handed me to my (competent and loving) father and walked away.
These custody cases resulting in death are so horrendous. I wish people could pause and realize that they're harming their child more than anyone else. I'm going through a divorce and as annoyed or angry as I am, I conduct myself calmly and rationally bc I know that's what my kids deserve. It's awful when the child loses one parent to death and another parent to prison.
Thank you EBD for covering the court filing. I can’t get it out of my mind who would make their teenage daughter clean blood out of their vehicle from just killing someone ???!
These Grandmothers who want to raise their Grandchildren did not do such a good job raising their own kids, what makes them think they can do a better job raising their Grandchildren.

It’s not just Veronica’s 2 children that are going to suffer, but Jilian’s 4 children, as well as Cole’s children and Cora’s children as well since they have now lost their parents. And Paul Grice (the 5th suspect) was arrested today, so his children will be suffering as well. I don’t understand people and the things they do!

An anvil is very heavy, used to be a base for hammering, or curving metal. I live close to Oklahoma and have lived in Oklahoma. I am 59 and have never seen an anvil fly off a vehicle. They are generally bolted to the bed of the vehicle, so they don't fly off. That my friends is a crock of 💩
What is it about this time of year? Last year a woman I knew was allegedly m-rdered by her ex and father of her two children. There was a multiple state-wide search for her after her disappearance in early March and the speculation is that she had told him she was moving away and planned to take the kids with her because he was ab-sive. He was charged after her body was finally found relatively close to the property of some of his family. And his family was fighting for custody for a long time, but eventually it was decided they would stay with her family, thankfully. 💕 So sad for those children 💕
I have driven through the panhandle many times. It truly is in the middle of nowhere.
These murders seem occur during the kids adorable - cute age. You never see “problematic” custody battles over kids who are in their awkward adolescence phases. Thanks goodness my siblings & I were ugly - probably saved my dad’s life lol.
What in the Wile. E. Coyote hell is this family?
Good Evening, from the Netherlands 💜👋🇳🇱.
I can't understand why the mother (victim) would choose or agree to exchange custody in such a remote place.
I appreciate your humor and honesty while breaking down these cases. I also had an immediate wtf moment with the whole anvil thing and we'll admit to giggling at your whole rant/explanation/confusion of it. I too am from your generation and get the FD references.
An anvil through the windshield??? What in the Acme Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote is this, and what were you on when you came up with this idea???
Same place my mind went to 😂
What in the Wile E. Coyote is going on?
These cases make my stomach turn. They hit too close to home for me. 💔
I been through it, I feel extremely bad for the mother & the court appointed supervisor;
