- Brigade Commander, 16 Air Assault Brigade of British Army, Brigadier Nick during Interaction called Indian troops brothers. “On this particular exercise, not only have we been training two of our battle groups, we've also been training with our Indian brothers. We have a very strong shared history and strategic partnership with India, but what's been really impressive is how quickly the tactical relationship has built among us,” Brigadier Nick, British Army.

More equipped then Indian army in these kind of excercise. But now Indian army looks very well equipped with new ballistic helmets , light bulletproof jackets and advance equipment .

As a British Indian living here in the U.K., I could not be more prouder seeing Britain & Indian co-operating like this. Know that many in India are still very bitter about Britain's 190 year colonial rule of India & the plundering of its assets but we can't keep on being stuck in the past & have to move on in life. Today we not only got a British P.M. of Indian origin too but the 1.6m+ British Indians like myself will only help in keeping the shared history & close connections of our two countries growing even stronger with the passage of time.
@@mayurchak1899 Not naive at all but I'm confident that in the passage of time, whatever was looted by Britain will be returned to India & to other countries too. Recently I recall some such artefacts was returned to an African country but don't remember all the details now. P.M. Sunak may not be the elected British P.M. & chances are that he will lose the General Election next year but he is still the P.M. for now. The Indian diaspora here like myself will always stand for India's interests - just like how many went to protect the Indian Embassy in Central London after it was attacked by militant Khalistani's.

@@mail2viveks Am NOT justify anything & I would have Indian ancestors too who must have also suffered under British rule but sometimes you just have to let go of all this rancour & hatred as they can be very self-destructing! However thankfully our Indian gov't does not hold any bitterness or grudges about our past & this is why India has made very impressive strides in its development in becoming a real emerging global power today. Now just compare & contrast this with some nameless countries who still live in the past & who are today bitterly demanding compensation for say slavery that it suffered a long time back but sadly these countries have NOT progressed at all. This bitterness ingrained with them & just looking backwards seems to have held them back! It is not just Britain but Germany, Japan etc who have had a history or a chequered past that they today feel shameful about but should we ostracize them & be bitter against them too???

Indian army has best all round training because they do exercise with many countries.
Same with uk, we go Cyprus india africa France Norway Sweden to name a couple. Its good to see how other people do things in life

actually its mainly because we are surrounded by Pakistan and China and our training has to be top notch so that we can surive in this era of "indirect" and "proxy" wars.
Wrong Israel army training is best they trained with US marines, French air force, NATO & Indian army as well. Hence being so small they have a great military.

Official stance is that 'we are against war' we are clear from beginning and our prime minister requested many times to Putin personally to stop war but we are not like Europe and America who provides arms and ammunition and act as catalyst for war.

They don't need to, the UK has been training in jungle warfare in Belize for decades!
British troops and Special forces are regularly trained at Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School(CIJWS), Mizoram.
They also undergo training at HAWS, Gulmarg.
@@marcd5196 British SF have been training for jungle combat in Belize and Guiana long before India ever had SF! They might train alongside US and Indian SF in Mizoram but it's just for the location, not skills transfer. In fact, it's the other way around, Indians learn from the west. We were doing special forces before Indians even knew what that meant, the SAS were formed in WW2, and the entire structure of the Indian army is based on the one that the British left you! Sigh.
@@SenorSol Not skill transfer? They undergo courses at CIJWs/HAWS designed by the institute. The instructors are from the Indian Army, often Special forces.

@@SenorSol lol, looking at the video the British guy is wearing a "Maroon Beret" signifying hes from an Airborne background and is considered "elite". We have sent troops from the Bihar regiment, which is a regular regiment to train with your "Elites" as an "Equalizer"
If we sent in our Maroons, they would put your "Elites" to shame, and hence we dont do that.

UK paras are hard, Royal Marine Commandos are harder, there is no Indian that can complete the marines 32-week training course, the longest SF training in the world. And when Indian SF are up to the standards of the SAS will you let us know?
Indian army is top heavy, you have too many men and not enough first rate kit, which is precisely why the top brass wants to cut down on your troop numbers, it's about quantity over quality.

The BBC shows footage of slums as part of a story about India's space program, and you have no idea how technologically advanced India is. In contrast to the UK, which has been in decline for the last 50 years, India is expected to become the third largest economy by 2030. There is an obvious rebalancing of the world's superpowers coming in the near future.
