- Here is at last my video about my INKTOBER 2019 Projects! This year, I followed the prompts and ended up creating really special dreamy illustrations. I hope you will like them, and enjoy following my painting process, getting the behind the scenes of this illustration projects and know more about the painting techniques I used : wet in wet backgrounds with salt effects, negative painting (of course!!), layering and using fineliners and a while gel pen for details.

All I can say it that your INKTOBER artwork is jaw dropping freak'n gorgeous! Wow! Ever consider making prints out of some of your illustrations? I'm still watching your much awaited video, but so far my favorite INKTOBER ink 2019 painting is the little girl standing with her hands on her hips looking at the wall that bears the same pattern as her shirt/blouse. I love how you used the salt. To me, the effects resemble flowers. I've used it when painting animal fur and bird's feathers. I'm still trying to find "my style". So glad you are expanding your horizons and for sharing this video of hope and inspiration!

C'est mon "Inktober" préféré de cette année, c'est de loin un des plus beaux et certainement le plus onirique. 🎈
Quelle technique, quelle maitrise, la profondeur de champ, la lumière, c'est impressionnant, encore Bravo.
Et vu la taille et la minutie des dessins, ça vaut largement 2-3 mois d'Inktober complets.
Merci pour le partage tout en poésie, les tips & les techniques partagés. Beaucoup à postériori réalisent (a minima) des zines avec leurs dessins d'Octobre, soyez assurée que comme beaucoup j'aurai grand plaisir à me le procurer et à feuilleter un zine (voire un livre) aussi engageant à la rêverie.

Hi Anne-Laure, I followed your paintings on Instagram, and I love listening to your thoughts. I never paint an immaginary subject before, but I've got a project in my mind. I've just been operated on by strabismus and I would like to represent my story as that of a fixed doll. I'm trying to imagine scene and background, something sweet and delicate, like an illustration for a children book, a symbolic and liberating painting. Your video is inspiring, thank you very much 😘

You are so inspiring and positiv and I love your illustrative work! It's so cute and completely different from your plain air watercolor ( which are also beautiful but very different) .it just shows how creative and talented and skilled you are.
Best artwork/video to date! Love all your artwork here, I wish I could see it "not so quickly" I wasn't finished looking at the pieces when the video moved on. That's the effect of being drawn in!
