THE BEST ON YT ! havnt found anyone produce even close to the quality of your content on this subject . You actually explain and teach the art form / techniques for practical sacred geometry drawing instead of just talking about the symbols and shapes , keep up the amazing work man and thank you for doing what you do !
I got the locking compass a few weeks ago based on your recommendation. I'd been using the Staedtler model below it, which is great, but doesn't lock. Holy crap, what a difference. Not just in accuracy, but in time saved.
That applies to life in general. Once you reach the end you only seek another end. The journey is the most powerful and has the most impact on the Soul level. We create a goal so we may learn the things we need to along the way to that goal.
You’ve unlocked core memories. My dad was a tool and die designer in the auto industry before computers/autoCAD, etc. Because he often worked second jobs, he kept a briefcase of drafting tools at home. If you were REALLY lucky, he’d let you use his pencils, erasers, templates, etc., and I would sit and make designs with a compass much like these (but with little kid accuracy.) By the time I got to Geometry class, all of the relationships were ingrained in my brain and it was easy and fun. Haven’t thought about his tool case in decades!❤
I have been drawing Sacred Geometry for about 5 years now and you have been a constant mentor and inspiration. I learned things within the first few minutes of watching this and throughout the whole thing. Thank you for what you do 🙏 And let me give my condolences for the "death" of your compass. R.I.P 😢 I actually just ordered one for myself and a rubber putty earser. Again thank you for what you do ✌️💗⚛️
I was totally engrossed in this and hadn’t realised I was watching for 50 mins! I’m at the beginning of my Sacred Geometry journey and can’t wait to start.
I love drawing mandalas and random patterns. Nothing is more satisfying than seeing my hands filling up all the white space. It's kind of an urge to fill up every blank page i see with patterns. It pleases my eyes and i always enjoy the process. Thank you so much for this video
You are one of the best, as artist and as teacher. I am not new to mandalas but when I see your videos I am learning more and like You sometimes I copy the start geometric pattern from others and sometimes I create from the start. Thank-you very much. Good karma to you.
I watched this first two weeks ago, couldn't believe I didn't stray from the video for 50 minutes. Your voice and cadence, the way you've captured your thoughtful manner of instructing, woven with with wit and wisdom was so soothing. I arrived back today to watch again with all of the tools to embark on this journey. I'm elated to have a new outlet for moving meditation, especially as the winter months draw close. Thank you Zak! You rock!
Only an intelligent being could reach planet Earth from millions of light years away. For this reason, it is impossible for any intelligent life to have any contact with a planet colonized by fear. So the paradox occurs of that Zak Korvin made a mistake by landing on planet Earth on his interstellar trip... The best 50 minutes invested in the best Sacred Geometric Art video for beginners on all of UA-cam, without any exaggeration... And little is said about the impeccable editions of the videos where the 50 minutes are made short. Enorme! From here, all my respect, admiration and Gratitude. Thanks Master. All the best.
I do appreciate that you dont emphasize the end results or the need to be 'perfect'. I teach, as a volunteer, a variety of fiber arts skills, and most people are too hard on themselves. We are all beginners at so many times in our lives. Thank you for your tutorial.❤
I just found your channel and as I am laying in bed.. I found myself drifting off to sleep 😴! The Music , the patterns and most of all your voice !!!! Everything is soo calming. Thank You for sharing 😊 Sending Love , Light and Healing Energy you way .. from Miami Beach Florida 🙏🏽
I have been following you for quite a while, I love your vibe and I love your work. You've inspired me in my work, and THIS VIDEO is something I'm very excited about. Thank you! and I am wishing you well!
This reminds me of a gift my grandma bought me for Christmas. There were plastic circle shapes with teeth like a gear...and you put your pencil in the middle and moved it around the main template to create these beautiful geometric patterns. I loved it.
Wow i love doing mandalas. Mostly do them in watercolor so theyre a little less precise sharp lines. But it brings me so much joy. Im so glad i found a relevant art channel! 🎉
This is absolutely the best tutorial I have seen. So many simple techniques and helpful tips. I have been drawing mandalas for years with a hit and miss approach. This will change everything for me. Thank you.
I'm in 10th grade and have started plane geometry this year. I love math and always have. This geometry class has only exponentially increased my love for maths. I love the proof-writing because it forces people to see the logical fallacies they use, which if I'm being honest has always been a pet peeve of mine, so it is rather relieving to see those things get fixed as well as improve my own thinking. It's also reinvigorated my love for art. All my life, I've made art. Drawing, specifically, is a way for me to understand whatever it is I'm drawing. I draw maps, portraits, architecture, or whatever else peaks my interest. I've wanted to find ways to apply the plane geometry because I've enjoyed it so much, and art is what I have found. Specifically Islamic design, and now your channel. It helps me understand the relationship between geometric shapes. Thank you for this masterpiece of a video. I made it half way through thinking it had only been 5 minutes, only then to realize it was a 50 minute video, of which I am very grateful for. This is by far the best description of this art form from just one video. Your delivery and explanation of the meaning and the how-to aspect of it is all perfect. Needless to say, you've well earned my subscription. Thanks again for this. It means a lot to me, personally.
Thanks for sharing this. The precision tips are total game changers. I tried getting into sacred geometry a while back and found no joy in it. You've shown me I just didn't have the right tools to make progress. I'll definitely be trying again.
Thank you so much for explaining how to use the compass, how to align the pencil with the needle. It’s basic but if no one shows you you can start off on the wrong foot!!
The other thing about harder lead is the harder the lead the lighter the line. With an H9 lead drawn confidently and gently you can skip the erasing step after your construction lines. Nice video. I'm enjoying it.
Took me more than 50 mins to draw but it came out so beautiful! ❤️ I added my personal touch around the outer-most leaves and created more patterns. This was my first mandala art and it was a success, all because of you. Thank you for your efforts! Looking forward to more such videos. Art has always been therapeutic to me and it helps in managing my anxiety.
You just popped into my stream. I always liked geometry, but I was never properly taught how to use it. I like your guideline into creating a grid. I really enjoyed watching your tutorial. I 'm certainly going to watch more of your chanel. And I like the background music. It complement your voice. Very tranquil and soothing. Thank you!
this video is art itself. very relaxing, well divided, angles, titles, graphics, b roll. and good call on the locking compass. saving this to come back to while i practice! thank you
Been following you for a long time, your videos are great, my love for math, and your drawings has inspired me to search for the deeper meaning between math and my CREATOR.
Ok... I was on the edge of my seat when you were doing the second inner flower circle with ink. It might as well have been a horse race and I had my money on Your Left Hand. I had been laying on my bed, watching this. It's my first time here. Never watched anyone draw these and I'm relaxed. But during that part I sat up in bed and was leaning toward the tv like it was broadcasting the moon landing. And I just looked over at myself in the mirror and was like... Seriously? This is Suspense for you? Because that is awesome. Then I burst out laughing. And I thought of a new word. Inspired by You! relaxiety - meaning: "to feel relanxious". :) Peace!
I'm hooked watching for the first time. Your voice, both the cadence and tone is quite tranquile. The pace at which you'd draw is also considerate for the viewer watching or drawing along with you. Thank You for your time in creating quality content. Cheers///kRay/NYC
I've always loved these. I started doing three in the 1990's but I haven't progressed much as I gave up, not knowing how to use compasses etc, and not knowing you can put the point right in the middle of any gaps that appear where three lines intersect. Thank you for this, you have a new subscriber.
Thank you for unlocking the hurdles. Been trying on my own, but it always looked sloppy. Your attention to detail is exceptional, and the way you explain makes it attainable.
where I am from we call that the "kneaded eraser", and I was today years old when I found out what it is actually good for. Thank you for this! I used to draw sacred geometry in Inkscape, but it lacked so much of the calming process, so I went back to pen and paper and still do. I can't imagine, at least a day in a week, without me doing sacred geometry.
Thank you very much. This was an incredible help. It's going to save me time and headaches. I love the way you find center, ensure symmetry, and grid. Again thank you so much. I just got a really nice Har cover drawing book as a gift from a family member. I've been anxious to start drawing in it but these techniques gave me a ton of confidence. Again, thanks so much. God bless.
Wise words . Thanks for the manda drawing! I did my first one ever today! It's really satisfying and enjoyable! Even after I've done with it I came back a few times just to appreciate it. I've made it untill the black ink. i did'nt do the dot. I'm gonna do some painting on it actually. Great contents man!
This is the first of your video's that I have watched, it won't be the last. Very soothing for my chaotic mind, so I'll give it a go, no matter how it turns out initially 😄
