Malcolm & Angus Young's guitar tone back in the day was unbeatable in the rock industry. It's too bad that it changed once Bon left us, even though they managed to come up with a good sound with Johnson, but seriously lost that sweet yet killer tone of their mid- to late seventies that still brings a beautiful sting to the skin, even to this day. A perfect blend along with Scott's unique vocals, and clever lyrics, mark/cliff's thumping bass lines, and the master of time, that being Phil, alway's provide the human skin to goose bump, with hair raising excitement when going full throttle into the zone we call AC/DC.
I agree 100% with you Timothy on the sound the band had in 70's with that killer tone. Mark Evans was on the bass during this time, not Cliff Williams. I also agree with Funk63 that the Young brothers changed their sound once Johnson joined the band. I don't think the change had anything to do with Brian. I think it was the record company wanting that polished sound and that's when Robert John "Mutt" Lange came into the picture.
First I want to thank you have uploaded to the web this material. On the other hand I wanted to ask if you have any data about how this material was recorded . Greetings! (Google translator)
Bon Scott.. WHAT A VOICE !!!
This version is pure eargasm.
This is magnificent....they don't rush any of the songs and you can really take it in. Use HEadphones!!!

Where's the start of "ive Wire" and "Can I Sit Next To You"? It doesn't pick up until the song is half over on both.
