I genuinely had a nightmare about Regime Superman massacring the Lantern Corps while powered by fear at the end of Year 2.
Regarding Superman’s prison, it was a Red Sun chamber. Kryptonite weakens him, but a red sun takes away his powers
It doesn't exactly take away his powers that's gold kryptonite, red solar radiation just makes him as powerful as a human as long as he's in there.

The yellow lantern was not to distinguish the character. It is a different ring entirely.
All lantern rings, green, yellow, red, etc., are all based on different sources of power. For example, green's source is willpower and yellow is fear.
Red is anger, and that plays a part in Injustice 2!
I remember a lot of people were like "well Billy is probably an adult by now. Superman had been in power for 5 years." Then the comic came out, and people found out Billy was 10 years old when Joker nuked the city. Made a lot of people rethink this scene
Nah,billy was 12 by the time joker nuked the city. Meaning he was at minimum 16-18 by the time superjerk laser's him. Still a kid tho
The thing was when shazam was about to yell out shazam he wasn’t trying to attack Superman he was trying to appeal Boy Scout nature that he may have had left in him since that part of Superman would never hurt anyone ESPECIALLY A CHILD, but that part of Superman is so far gone that when he saw Shazam about to say shazam he saw it as a threat, he thought it was an attack.
A lot of the voice actors for the superheroes have been the voices of these heroes for decades. They are a lot of people's definitive voices of those characters.
The thing that Superman used to put his villains away like zod and Doomsday is called The phantom zone for any world threatening enemies that Superman has to take on he puts them in the fant
How do they not know this...Superman and his strengths and weaknesses and life have been around over 70 years in pop culture, from comic books to cartoons to live action TV and games across the board.

@Jay_theartist19 True but Superman and his history and origins etc is well known throughout all forms of media..a person can not read comics for example and still get a enormous amount of knowledge about Superman through other media.
The moment Superman killed Shazam, an actual child no less, was the moment that what little humanity he had as Superman was gone. We should be grateful that the real Superman would never go down this path, regardless.

I totally agree, but this seems to be the problem that no one thinks about in the real world. How many children did Superman kill indirectly when implementing his regime? It's not the first time, just like we laud politicians, though by knowing that here in the US, our drone strikes kill 90% innocent people...still authorizing them makes you a killer by omission...the mob boss who looks the other way...even Superman can't be everywhere at once...so there's no way he could control the entire world except through violence and it's threat...and just living under those conditions will cost lives...
A real life Superman that loses his child and wife would, an imaginative and young one in the comics would not go down the path

he's just a normal human until he says the word "shazam" to activate his powers. not every version of the character is like that, though.
@@Zonedoutallthetime His abilities are already activated. He was killed in his Shazam form. If they weren't active, he'd look like his usual kid self. And as was seen in the comic tie-in, that is how this version of the character works too.

Superman actually does wear a yellow lantern ring in the comics temporarily. He was a terror with that thing.
14:50 - Raven is the Daughter of Trigon, an immensely powerful demon on par with the likes of Darkseid himself. However despite his power he is denied entry into our universe thanks to spells woven by Raven’s mother, a human woman who lives among the monks of Azerath, and by Raven herself, who is the key to Trigon’s return.
A lot of Ravens stories in the early days of her comic appearances revolves around her battling Trigon and his influence over her mind; for if she loses herself to his will, she will become his servant and bring about the apocalypse on Earth first, and then soon after the entire universe.
In Injustice Raven has lost the battle within her mind and soul and is as Diana says: a servant of Trigon, but due to the antics of Mr.Mxzyptlk and Constantine, Trigon is currently banished within the Void, which exists between all realms and is essentially nothingness.
Until she can restore Trigon from the Void, Raven serves Superman and his regime as it only weakens and destabilises the world in preparation for Trigon - who not even Superman is a match for as Trigon can warp reality, use Hellfire and a whole host of overpowered magic to crush those who would defy him.
Even though the title is called "Gods among us", what i love most about the injustice story (and what so many people misunderstand) is that the purpose of the story is to show how vulnerable and human these god like beings actually are at their center. People tend to call it edgy or evil superman, but in reality what the injustice story explores (and what Snyder was building to) is who these characters are in despite of their powers and how susceptible to fear, anger, doubt, and pain they are like the rest of us.

@@MarzOnline92 tbf, from all looks Snyder initially intended for the movies to be more spread out but had to put all the heroes in the same movies. At least in the Snyder edition the characters are a lot less butchered then people say. And even Batman critiques are often more exaggerated then they are especially when his arc is about pulling back from the edge because of his own mistakes

23:24. To answer that question, it happened in the comics when regime Superman gets the yellow ring and becomes unstoppable. He kills a pregnant Black Canary, and she reveals that to the world, causing him to go on a rampage and kill the green lantern corps.
Here's another fun fact for you guys. Outside of the main DC Trinity (Clark, Bruce & Diana), there's a another set of three friends. Flash, Lantern, and Arrow. Even outside of work, they do everything together, like a family.
1. Only someone who causes fear or someone who is the opposite of fear can remove a yellow ring from someone I believe
2. The punch superman gave other superman at the end was so powerful,it sounded like it caused an earthquake which I think is cool 😂

When Dr. Manhattan actually goes to the end of time and sees only Superman and his fist, gets punched, has an epiphany, and recreates the universe...it's in the Doomsday Clock crossover...

The Aquaman that was using the giant crustaceans was the good Aquaman. Also, that prison Superman was in at the end was lit with red solar radiation. Like on Krypton, Superman doesnt have powers under a red sun. Only under a yellow sun.
Lantern rings only work for their chosen host, and only move on to a new host once their current one dies.

the talk about dark superman is always interesting cuz everyone is always like oh my superman doesnt kill blah blah blah, to be honest what we need is a movie that does show the dark side of what superman could be like just how it is in this game, but knowing how people are they would complain saying that superman isnt like this or that. Sometimes its better and more interesting to see how our heroes could be if they were opposite from being good or how they go about things. also if people complain about it, its literally in the comics of an alternate universe that shows all of them.
Zack was giving DC a way better superman, ppl still want to hold on to the generic boy scout superman like Christopher reeve superman, i think that superman is outdated, I rather him be humanized but not necessarily dark.
23:23 it actually happened ,you see there are comics that are taking place before the game ,before batman brought Heroes from another universe he was fighting against Superman and his regime for five years and these comics are showing these five years ,he and his allies made mamy tries to defeat Superman and one times Black canary almost killed Superman but then one of the sinestro ring did choose Superman ,I don't remember a lot of details because I read those comics a while back so I don't remember why he took this ring off later in the story
This was so much fun, my favourite line from the injustice comic is Batman telling Superman he lost his family too, and without skipping a beat Supes replies "but you weren't the gun". That's such a gut punch!
23:30 That actually happens to various degrees during the Green Lantern comic run Blackest Night and Brightest Day, where a bunch of heroes and villains get different power rings...of which there are seven that follow what is called the "Emotional spectrum" that mirrors the color spectrum (ROYGBIV), Red=Rage, Orange=Avarice, Yellow=Fear, Green=Willpower, Blue=Hope, Indigo=Compassion, and Violet=Love...and they are all "Corps" made up of multiple people except Orange, which only belongs to one person because the emotion is avarice or greed...but they get the special ability to create constructs of any unique individuals they have absorbed to fight for them...then during the Blackest Night/Brightest Day event, a white and black ring were introduced that represent life and death, but basically all the heroes and villains get rings that either correspond to or twist their personality, so it's really interesting...Check out the YT channel "Comics Explained" for an in-depth analysis...

So I think for aquaman unlike Wonder Woman he couldn’t get his people on his side. So the good aquaman called in those fish monsters, while bad aquaman still had his army

The prison Superman is in is Surounded by lamps that give off the light of a Red Star. Which is what Krypton's star was. Our Yellow Sun is what gives Superman his power. He absorbs the solar radiation. The Red star neutralizes that making him just a normal human being. So as long as he's in that chamber he's just a man.

And the ridiculous minigame against Black Adam, where the Good Superman in order to win the minigame without losing health has to blow up the cars being thrown at him with his heat vision, cars that clearly have people in them as Black Adam is pulling them out of moving traffic to throw at Superman.

Synderverse would've covered an injustice type of movie, which was a little taste we got in the end of the ZSJL and would also have ended with a Flashpoint Paradox type movie
Too many people blame synder for how things turn out, instead the blame should be placed at WB and fast they tries to rush things and trying to be like marvel instead of letting DC be it's own flavor of superhero story.

In BvS during the Knightmare scene Supes says "You let her die, she was my world" and In ZSJL you clearly see Superman holding a skeleton which is of lois.
Zack Snyder was definitely drawing upon the Injsutice storyline.
There's also a comic called Final Crisis where Darkside uses his omega beams and Batman takes the blast so somehow ends up back in time
I think thats why he has the visions because he was gonna sacrifice himself in the end, changing the future. Which is causing some sort of feedback in his mind giving him the visions

Red Sun light, keep him out of the sun and he'll be powerless. That's why Supergirl in the movie didn't regain her strength until they got her out into the sunlight. It's the Sun that gives them their power.

The Phantom zone (punishment portal) is usually depicted as a different dimension usually accessible by the portal generator (which is there and switched on in the background) with Superman movie depicting as mirror because of planets crystal theme.
Also Superman's cell is covered in Run Sun lights which completely deplete his powers into a near human state (the red in his eyes were just there as a sequel bait)

You mentioned the evil Superman dream in Batman V Superman - the makers of Injustice actually met with Zack Snyder during the making of BvS to discuss that, and they informed each other!
I can't wait for the Injustice 2 story. It's my fav out of the 2 games.

The phantom zone is made by a device thats like the size of a basketball and it creates a portal that sucks them in and traps them.
There's a large gun that is held with both hands that when fired sends someone to the phantom zone. It's been used in the animated series and comics with roughly the same appearance.
