What a lot of people are missing is that the left side was crowded in new york with Brunson and Randal. On the Raps they were lacking from the left. He fits perfectly and both creates spaxe fir others and has more space now.

It helps that he has an amazing start so far. Averaging 21 59/50/77 shooting splits. Those numbers aren't sustainable but if he can keep making good decisions, they should look pretty decent by the end of the season

That is the problem with Thibs offensive use of RJ Barrett. Just standing around waiting for a pass. Knicks FabBums are always trying to rag on RJ Barrett. He's gone. Get over it. He is going to be a star in the NBA.

That was always the problem with RJ on the Knicks. Even at Duke he was always running the floor and playing best in transition. Look at the Knicks 2021 playoff series against the Hawks. Standing in the corner. And when he does run, Thibs sits him right away. RJ never fit with Thibs offensive plan. Just was not a good fit. @@XWDaniel

RJ is jazzing it up because the NYK offense with him, Randle and Mitch was static. Nobody moves their feet. Offense becomes predictable. Defense was always set.
With RJ replaced by effective perimeter shooters, the defense had to open up, leaving the lanes free for JR and Brunny. Plus Hart'ein became a different animal as a starter.
