@@phileincibus4545he’s lowkey mid get frustrated with him and his tunnel vision a lot but where he has his spurt of game where he makes quick decisions he’s good but then an injury will come and he’s back to a 20 game stretch of horrible play

My only hope for RJ is that he's 23. Still time to turn around his image as an inefficient bad shot taker. Not holding my breath though, he's been the same player for 4 years now.
Getting strong Danny Green vibes from RJ in this trade, you'd think he was just a throw in with how Knicks fans talk about him, the KID is only 23, and lets not act like he wasnt on a team that is know for squandering their draft talent, Obi is playing great ball for the Pacers and i feel like RJ may end up being the main piece to this trade, if that happens Masai fleeced the Knicks again. Considering they got Quickley who's gonna be awesome next to Barnes and a 31-35th overall pick, honestly such a good trade for both teams.

I know Raptors fans are going to get frustrated at the same things Knicks fans did. Inconsistency, weak off-hand finishing, loose handle, unpredictable defence, not a great shooter off the dribble yet. But at the end of the day, a career 18ppg scorer will be a great addition to your offense. Hopefully he can finally unlock more of his star potential with his home team. Imagine how many points he would score if only he had a bag.
Knicks chose Randle development over RJ. I wish him the best. He was breaking out then idk what happened. Probably knew he was going to get traded.

Good trade for the Knicks! They are out of Barrett's contract and don't have to pay Quickly who is due for an extension. Knicks can use their funds to resign OG. Knicks have enough guns to come off the bench in Hart and DiVincenzo. I will miss Quickly, but to get quality you have to give up quality and Barrett would not have been enough.

RJ is decent but he had so much hype that he was a disappointment. I think he’s a great 4th option on a championship team but he’s just not a good enough shooter to be a top option. Good defender and secondary ball handler. I think Quickley is the best part of this trade. He might make a leap in Toronto.
I think Pascal... Barnes... then RJ. But the Raps scoring and shooting has been really poor this year. The key to the trade is that IQ will be a perfect fit for us, I agree with you there.

It's win-win for both teams, Knicks get a versatile player in OG and decent pieces in Precious & Malachi. The Raptors get younger which fits the Scottie Barnes timeline in Quickley and RJ. Also Barrett is a knockdown shooter and IQ can help run the offence better if gets the chance to start
