I’m glad to see someone enjoying this movie for what it is, a good popcorn flick. He even said in the interviews that some of it was meant to make you laugh. I thought his daughter was a great artist too. Only disappointment was we could have used more Kid Cudi. P.S. Knock at the Cabin give the book a read or get an easy cheat through Wiki or a student quick read website.
Thank you! I figured a lot of this was meant to be comical. I agree that we should've got more Kid Cudi, he was great. Also, I've been meaning to read Knock at the Cabin sometime so I'll definitely check it out.
Preposterous concept, 4,829 improbabilities, tongue in cheek dialogue and a fantastic sardonic performance by Josh Hartnett - and people are saying it’s no good because it is not “ realistic” or “believable “ ? 😂 Thank you for telling folks what camp means! We love it!
@@LoganLikesMovies ah, it’s so nice to hear somebody “get” this movie. High camp indeed. Hartnett sad he had a lot of fun doing it and Night thought parts were hilarious. So did we, hubby and I. We saw it twice and now bought it on VOD.
Camp is bonkers funny. In Trap, it’s the preposterous premise, the wild improbabilities, the over the top Hartnett performance as both endearing and menacing, and double entendre dialogue. It has flaws for sure. Bad editing, cringe acting by Saleka tho her singing and songwriting are great. The cinematography excellent. Just don’t go into it thinking it’s a usual Twisty serious movie. M Night said it was totally different and it is. Enjoy!

@@LoganLikesMovies You’ll be pleasantly surprised as M. Night did change the ending of the movie for a signature twist many may not realise.

Patrick Bateman taking daughter into a concert hahha love this analogy
you convinced me to watch good job bro
Thank you! I hope you like it
I didn't think it was done well. Done with his movies. Josh was amazing though.
Totally fair, the movie definitely wasn't for everyone. Glad you liked Josh though!
What is the definition of campy
Exaggerated humor. I like to think of it as a movie that does “stupid” things, bad dialogue, character choices, etc, that are played off for comedy.
@@LoganLikesMovies oh i see Thanks
